13 Animals That Are Up Later Than You

While you were sleeping, these animals were really taking advantage of the midnight hour. Grab yourself some MiO Energy Liquid Water Enhancer and really give them a run for their money!

They are also born with built-in party armor.

2. Hedgehogs

It is illegal to own hedgehogs as pets in a lot of US states. Interestingly enough, while you sleep at night there is a secret underground hedgehog movement you are completely missing.

3. Grey Wolves

Since they are the distant relative of your chubby, lazy pug that sleeps all day, it’s probably not much of a surprise to anyone that these guys are nocturnal.

4. Red Foxes

These guys are always up late stealing your chickens and generally causing trouble.

5. Ocelots

Ocelots sleep all day and get all their exercise in the middle of the night, just like your cat at home who only stampedes around your apartment when you’re trying to sleep.

6. Slow Lorises

While you’re sleeping, this loris is moving way too fast with that girl from your poetry class that you have a big crush on.

7. Flying Squirrels

These guys jump off things and pretend to fly, classic party trick.

8. Hamsters

These guys act super boring during the day, but they become really active at night. They typically like to shed some pounds by running on their hamster treadmills and taking brisk walks through their cedar chip forests.

9. Bats

They literally just hang out all night long.

10. Scorpions

Scorpions are really scary, but they are generally thoughtful enough to stay out of your way during the day. Thanks guys.

11. Hermit Crabs

Hermit crabs also sleep during the day and have all their fun at night. That shell is bigger on the inside, or at least that’s what he tells the ladies.

12. Mice

Mice are nocturnal and also suave as heck, making them the ultimate party animals.

13. Sugar Gliders

Sugar Gliders are adorable but tend to be really clingy, so avoid giving them your real cellphone number or they will probably be texting you all night.
