This small country is located at the border of the Balkan peninsula and central Europe. There's easy access to many popular countries such as Italy, Croatia or Austria and within the Slovenian borders you can find some real gems! Slovenia has an abundance of mountains, caves, waterfalls and picturesque towns. Some favorite spots: Ljubljana, Lake Bled, Vintgar Gorge, Triglav National Park and Predjama castle.

Helsinki is great, but we recommend you to see more of the country. Go a little to the north east and you will find an abundance of very clear lakes which are great for a swim after using a sauna (yes, outdoor swimming is done in every season here). Go west from there and you will find the sea, which freezes over in winter! Up north you'll find reindeer, santa and sami culture. We recommend you to download an app to follow northern lights and go down an adventurous path!

Finland

This might be a bit of a cliché destination, but we can see why everyone wants to come here! Italy has tons of history, great food, picturesque winefields, coasts, mountains and impressive art and architecture. Even in a year there's not enough time to see everything. We recommend you pick out a few regions that you explore bit by bit. (Tuscany and Sicily are warmly recommended)

From the city of love to the Mont-Saint-Michel to the Cote d'azur, France is filled with picturesque places to visit. The culinary is also great: You can start your day with croissants and bagguettes, eat a crêpe Bretons for lunch and go see what speciality they have to offer at the local restaurant for dinner. There's many wines, cidres and regional specialties such as Calvados to enjoy as drinks. France is a very diverse place where you can simply enjoy life.

In Greece we recommend you don't hang around on the mainland, but go island hopping! Historically a lot has happened in Greece; you can visit Hellenic temples and Phoenician settlements. You can also go party if that's more your thing. Most of all we hope you enjoy the food, the culture and the sea.

As the Vengaboys said, in the Netherlands "We like to party". It's not the only thing there is to do though. Hop on a bike and ride through tulip fields, past windmills and even over the sea! The Dutch people don't hold back what they want to say. This attitude truly works in their favour for an efficiently running country with smooth roads (unlike in Belgium).
