This Woman’s Nature Art Is Insanely Popular On Instagram

"I'm searching for light and beauty and making art out of what I find."

Bridget Beth Collins is a botanical artist and mom to three wild boys (her description, not ours!) who transforms flower petals, leaves and other natural materials into breathtakingly beautiful art.

Collins — who has a popular Instagram account — told BuzzFeed she was first inspired to make her creations when she noticed the petals of one of the orange poppies in her garden reminded her of a goldfish.

“Soon it started feeling like I could create things with flowers that I could never achieve with paint,” Collins said.

“I’ve been so surprised by the creatures that leap out of the plants — birds especially. It doesn’t take much to create feathers with petals, and they look so real.”

Some of her pieces — like those featuring detailed faces — can take hours to make.

But others can be completed in a fraction of the time. “Often the plants themselves already look the part and a creation can take minutes, like a bunny made of leaves and a seed puff tail.”

“I usually collect little sprigs and flowers here and there on walks in nature or in my garden," Collins said.

"I then set my odds and ends on the table and see what they want to do. They make up their own pattern and I just place them where they seem to naturally go.”

And what do her sons think about her work?

To thrill her sons, Collins often branches out from her usual creations to make ones her boys will love, like this Pikachu.

She's also made Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory...

    Harry Potter...

    Star Wars' R2-D2 and C-3PO...

    The Kraken...

    And an impossibly cute gnome.
