What Are The Essential Items For Leaving The House With A Baby?

It's like packing for war but harder.

There are a lot of stressful things about having a new baby, but one of the most stressful is taking the baby into public.

There’s a lot to deal with: germs, blowout diapers, meltdowns, on-the-go feedings — you name it.


The good news? There are things you can pack that will make venturing into public a whole lot easier. Obviously, you'll want to bring diapers.

They say you should bring at least one diaper for every hour you plan to be out (but I would suggest bringing a few more than that just to be safe).

But you'll also want to bring a changing pad — maybe even disposable ones for changing your baby in sorta gross places.

It's also smart to bring a change of clothes for your baby AND you.
