It was YOUR news to share, but...

Recently, Emma Roberts told Jimmy Kimmel that her mom was guilty of an epic fail when she accidentally revealed Emma's pregnancy to the world before Emma was ready.

How did she do this? For the full story click the link above, but the gist is that fans online starting congratulating Emma's mom about the baby after there was a tabloid report Emma was pregnant, and she thanked everyone for the "pregnancy wishes" on her Instagram.

Of course, you don't have to be a Hollywood celeb to have someone spill the beans about your pregnancy before you're ready. For example, maybe you told just one friend in secret, but they got drunk and started dishing.

Or maybe a friend saw you about to eat something — like a hot dog or sushi — and said in front of a big crowd, "Is it OK for you to eat that?"

Sure, they meant well and it was a total mistake but...ack!

Or maybe — yikes! — you have a story of someone straight-up being evil and revealing your news just to be a big you-know-what.

Bravo
