Texting full words? That's for moms. Kids these days wouldn't dare text something as complicated as "love you" when it can be simply abbreviated as "LY." And if you're a parent, you should probably get with the times, because text message shorthand is here to stay.

Missing TV Episodes

Missing shows like "Saved By The Bell" and "Salute Your Shorts" always used to be a major bummer. Thankfully, even with their busy social schedules, kids today never have to go through the hardship of missing their favorite TV show. With options like DVR and Hulu, watching TV live is becoming a thing of the past.
