As unbelievable as it may sound, Cheow Lan Lake is actually man-made and has only existed for around 30 years. Surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful rock formations, this pristine lake is nothing short of amazing.

Unlike most rail tracks, you're actually allowed to walk along this 300-metre railway bridge. Trains still do run along these tracks, but there are designated safety points where you can stand.

The park's ground covers the remnants of Ayutthaya, the city that was a former capital before its destruction by the Burmese in 1767. The historical park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the '90s, and a visit there will show you what remains of the once thriving city.
