23 Epic Celeb Feuds You Might Have Forgotten About

"Gwyneth, what's good?"

We ALL know the most recent celeb beef to grace us was that of Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.

It made us question "what's good?" with other celebrities. So we found the best "what's good?" moments that may have slipped your mind.

1. Gwyneth Paltrow vs. Martha Stewart.

What happened: It all started when Martha took a dig at Gwyneth in November last year, saying, "She just needs to be quiet. She's a movie star. If she were confident in her acting, she wouldn't be trying to be Martha Stewart." After this, two recipes were created, one a "Conscious Coupling" pie which was published by Stewart, the other a "Jailbird Cake", which appeared on Goop soon after. From here we don't know what happened.

Was it resolved? It's doubtful, but we may see a collaborative recipe for friendship pasta one day.

2. Mary-Kate Olsen vs. Paris Hilton.

What happened: In 2005, after dumping Mary-Kate, Stavros Niarchos III went straight into a relationship with Paris Hilton — who had just called off her engagement to Paris Latsis. Mary-Kate told W magazine, “[Paris and I] always only had nice things to say about each other, now I guess you can tell we’re not talking.”

Was it resolved? No, we don't think these two will be hanging out together any time soon.

3. Bill Murray vs. Lucy Liu.

What happened: Apparently Murray stopped filming on the set of Charlie's Angels and began to insult Liu, even saying, “What in the hell are you doing here? You can’t act!” Murray didn't appear in the second film of the franchise...

Was it resolved? In 2003, Murray stated that the entire thing had been blown out of proportion and Liu was not the reason he didn't appear in the second Charlie's Angels film. He even said "We made peace and I got to know her better from that day, and I feel very warmly for her now."

4. Courtney Love vs. Madonna.

What happened: At the 1995 MTV VMAs, Madonna was being interviewed during the post-show, when someone started throwing their makeup. This someone turned out to be Courtney Love, who was then invited to come and join the interview, even when Madonna said "No don't, please." What happened after was a few minutes of insanely weird television, and an incredibly unhappy Madonna.

Was it resolved? We don't think so!

5. Taylor Swift vs. Demi Lovato.

6. Rachel McAdams vs. Ryan Gosling.

7. Taylor Swift vs. Lorde.

8. Shia LaBeouf vs. Frankie Muniz.

What happened: Throwback to 2003 when Shia LaBeouf was starring in his first film, and Frankie Muniz was at the top of his game. Shia once said, ''I used to see [Muniz] at premieres and stuff and it would always be like he was looking down on me. And then it turned into we're equal, and then it turned into 'Oh Frankie? I know that guy.''' Seven years later and the actors were in opposite positions. However, LaBeouf still held a grudge and slammed Muniz in an interview, saying “I don't go to many parties and I don't really hang out in Frank Muniz–type zones.”

Was it resolved? We seriously doubt it... Those were some harsh burns.

9. Lindsay Lohan vs. Amanda Bynes.

What happened: It's the classic case of Disney vs. Nickelodeon. In 2012, Bynes had run-ins with the police for DUI, and hit-and-run offenses, but wasn't convicted. Lohan had a similar rap sheet, which led to her behind bars. Lohan tweeted, "Why did I get put in jail and a Nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?"

Was it resolved? No. Will it ever be?

10. Iggy Azalea vs. Snoop Dogg.

What happened: Snoop started the game with an Instagram mocking Iggy's apparent "look" without makeup. Iggy kept it somewhat civil, tweeting "why would you post such a mean pic on insta when you send your body guards to ask me for pictures everytime we are at shows." From there it went back and forth on Instagram and Twitter until Snoop called a truce and apologised after Iggy's longtime mentor, T.I., gave him a call.

Was it resolved? Yes, apologies were made and no memes have been posted since.

11. Perez Hilton vs. Will.i.am.

What happened: Back in 2009 Perez Hilton tweeted, "I was assaulted by Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke." Seemingly cropping up out of nowhere, the fight occurred when Will.i.am told Perez no to post about the Black Eyed Peas again, to which Perez responded with, "You're not a fucking artist... you're a fucking f****t." One thing led to another and Will.i.am's manager punched Perez in the face. Each released a video, and that was the end of that.

Was it resolved? Nope. Never was, never will be.

12. The Jenner Sisters vs. Selena Gomez.

What happened: Simply put, Selena spent Coachella with Kendall and Kylie, and a week later she unfollowed the both of them on Instagram and deleted their pictures together. Rumours of Kendall hooking up with Selena's ex, Justin Bieber, is said to be the main reason why the two aren't friends anymore.

Was it resolved? Yes and no. Kylie and Selena have been seen together since...but not so much Kendall and Selena.

13. Eminem vs. Christina Aguilera.

What happened: In 2000, Aguilera made a comment about how Eminem married the girl who he joked about killing in his album. Eminem didn't like her comment. In retaliation, in "The Real Slim Shady," he implied that Aguilera gave both Carson Daly and Fred Durst oral sex. A representative of Aguilera told MTV News that the allegations were "disgusting, offensive and, above all, not true." She then went on to release a response parody rap.

Was it resolved? Eminem did feature on a song that Christina Aguilera was also on, so does that count?

14. Hilary Duff vs. Lindsay Lohan.

What happened: One of the most iconic love triangles of our generation involved Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, and Aaron Carter. Carter said on The Big Idea that he started to date Lohan about a year and a half into dating Duff. Also, in 2004 Lohan poked fun at Duff in her Saturday Night Live monologue. In more recent news, Aaron Carter, after ditching Hilary Duff all those years ago, tweeted his undying love for her. Sorry, Aaron, but that relationship is just so yesterday.

Was it resolved? They aren't fighting, but they're not best friends.

15. Mariah Carey vs. Nicki Minaj.

What happened: They recorded "Up Out My Face" together and then they were on American Idol together. Their tension could be cut with a knife. Minaj's tweet essentially summed up her feelings to her co-host, "All dem #1s but JLo phone ringin? Lol. I guess having a personality, being a secure woman, and giving genuine critique still trumps that."

Was it resolved? Have you seen them together since?

16. Kelly Osbourne vs. Christina Aguilera.

What happened: This was a battle of the body-shamers. Osbourne claimed Aguilera was the first to sling mud, saying on E! Fashion Police, which she co-hosts, “Maybe she's just becoming the fat bitch she was always born to be. I don't know. She called me fat for so many fucking years, so you know what? Fuck you, you're fat too!” Aguilera never acknowledged the comment.

Was it resolved? Well, kinda. In 2012, Osbourne grudgingly said Aguilera was “looking way better.”

17. Chelsea Handler vs. Angelina Jolie.

What happened: As the well-known BFF of Jennifer Aniston, Handler took it to heart when Brad Pitt, Aniston's ex, was seen with Jolie. "She seems like a demon," she said on U.S. television show Watch What Happens Live. "As a woman, I know when you see somebody walking across the room that's a bad girl. I just don't like Angelina Jolie. I don't think she's a girl's girl."

Was it resolved? Never. Handler's on #TeamAniston for life.

18. Madonna vs. Gwyneth Paltrow.

What happened: The inseparable couple topped the glitterati of #BFFGoals in the mid-'00s. But all fell asunder when Madonna decided to boot their mutual personal trainer, Tracy Anderson. Paltrow, who was keen to keep Anderson on, defied the great Madonna and incurred her wrath. Naturally, Her Madgesty could not stand for it and terminated their friendship contract immediately. Yes, they actually had a friendship contract in place.

Was it resolved? No. In 2011, Paltrow alluded to Madonna as an "insufferable" friend who "drained empty, and belittled." But perhaps a friendship contract is the first sign your relationship is in trouble…

19. Kerry Katona vs. Delta Goodrem.

What happened: Hell hath no fury like an Atomic Kitten scorned. But to make things worse, Katona had the support of the entire UK media. Aussie golden girl Delta Goodrem, who was once engaged to Brian McFadden, Katona's then-husband, was publicly taunted by tabloids for being a home-wrecker.

Was it resolved? Yes. The two won't be best friends anytime soon. But Kerry has come to terms with the end of her marriage, sharing the blame for its demise with her ex, McFadden.

20. Lindsay Lohan vs. Paris Hilton.

21. Christina Aguilera vs. Mariah Carey.

What happened: Aguilera told GQ in 2006, "One time, we were at a party and I think she got really drunk, and she had just really derogatory things to say to me." But according to Carey, it was actually Aguilera who was out of sorts. "I had hoped that Christina was in a better place now," she told Access Hollywood. "She showed up uninvited at one of my parties and displayed questionable behaviour."

Was it resolved? Not yet. *secretly hopes for epic song battle*

22. Perez Hilton vs. Lady Gaga.

23. Kanye West vs. Taylor Swift.

What happened: This was one of those obscure things you'd miss if you blinked. The media coverage has really fallen short on this one...especially since it was dealing with two small-scale indie artists. But don't worry, we've got your back. 😉

So, in a very non-Kanye West fashion, Kanye took to the stage as Taylor accepted the Best Female Video award at the VMAs in 2009. Borrowing the microphone from her hand, he calmly suggested that, "Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time."

Was it resolved? The feud lasted a while, but all was resolved this year. Taylor even poked fun at the forgettable, unquotable moment at this year's VMAs when she awarded Kanye the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award. They are now best friends, possible running mates for the White House in 2020 — #KanTay2020 — and we can expect a series of collab albums and photobooks in the near future.

Only time will tell who will be next...

Correction

Delta Goodrem feuded with Kerry Katona. An earlier version of this post misstated Katona's first name.
