You'll start at opposite ends of the aisle, carefully scanning every shelf looking for the blue corn chips. As you reach the middle of the aisle, you'll both notice the empty shelf, peering in for a closer look at the label clearly naming the missing snack item. Your heads will butt into each other as you lean in to fully scan the shelf, and as you notice their excellent taste in spicy guacamole, you'll realize you already matched with them on Tinder and use this as an icebreaker.

You'll run into them at your grocery store's chip snack aisle

You'll walk into the theater and realize you and just one other person are the only guests present. You'll laugh at all the same parts and have a ton of fun with this stranger, and as you head out of the theater that evening, you'll make eye contact and casually suggest a drink to discuss the crazy plot twist.

You'll meet them at the movie theater.

You'll go to your next holiday party with absolutely zero expectations — you've been disappointed too many times, anyway. But as soon as you walk through the door, your eyes will spot someone who will restore your faith in idea of "love at first sight." And just when you think you're making it all up in your head, they'll approach you and strike up a flirtation that will lead to the romance of a lifetime.

You'll meet them at your next holiday party.

You were always opposed to the idea of being matchmade because you're your own person, and mostly you hate the thought of having this as your meet-cute story. But when you'll open the door to the restaurant where your parents said your date would be, you won't believe your eyes — they'll be your exact type. You'll spend three hours eating dinner and as you head out, you'll exchange numbers and promise to tell your friends a different "How I Met Your Mother" story.

Your parents will matchmake you.

You downloaded Tinder because your friends were raving about it and had gotten a ton of steamy hook-ups out of it. You never bought into it, but as these things go, your very first Tinder date will turn out to be with your soulmate. You'll thank yourself for having seen through the bad profile photos and the even worse bio because this person will sweep you off your feet for the rest of your life.

You'll find them on Tinder.

There's someone in your life who's been trying to get close to you, but that you've never really considered as a romantic partner. As soon as you open your eyes to all the kind people in your life who make you feel better about yourself, you'll realize that your soulmate has been there with you all along.

You've actually already met them.
