This "Game Of Thrones" Bar Just Opened And It Looks Pretty Damn Legit
Tyrion would be pleased.
Every Game of Thrones fan knows waiting for the newest season to arrive is an arduous test of endurance.

Well, to alleviate just a little suspense ahead of the July 16th premiere, the Washington, D.C.-based Drink Company opened a Game of Thrones-themed pop-up bar this week that's pretty much the closest you'll ever get to King's Landing.

The pop-up opened June 21 and will remain open until August 27. According to Drink Company's site, “We didn't have a choice; the three-eyed raven picked us. This pub is our love letter to the Seven Kingdoms and we cannot wait to share it with fellow fans.”
And guys, it is LEGIT. 😱

To pull it off, Drink Company transformed three of their four bars — Mockingbird Hill, Southern Efficiency, and Eat the Rich — into scenes from the North, the Red Keep, Mereen, the House of Black and White, and the Throne Room.

Fun fact: The Hall of Faces was put together using plaster molds of Drink Company employees, family, and friends.
Those fortunate enough to live in or near DC can get the chance to Insta themselves in the Throne Room...

And drink themed cocktails like the Lady Mormont...

This is made with gin, Madeira, honey passionfruit, lemon, Falernum, and orgeat.
Or the Dothraquiri.

Ingredients include dry white rum, Jamaican rum, Banane Du Bresil, creme de cacao, cane sugar, lime, and of course, some burnt star anise.
You can also enjoy a first date in front of your house banner of choice.

#HouseStark forever and always, TBH.
Who knows, George R.R. Martin — who's taken notice — might even show up on your next visit!

But please: Don't ask him about when the next book is coming out.
