The Immortal Universe is expanding on AMC.
Based on Anne Rice's novels, Mayfair Witches takes audiences back to New Orleans as a neurosurgeon named Rowan attempts to find out the truth about who she really is. Alexandra Daddario (Baywatch, The White Lotus) is playing the lead role alongside Annabeth Gish, Jack Huston, and Tongayi Chirisa.

I’ve gotten into #MayfairWitches on AMC and it’s enjoyable. However, as a huge fan of Anne Rice and The Witching Hour (the book it’s based on), they really are ruining Rowan’s character. Rowan is lonely, strong, brilliant, cold, & formidable. Not this punk they made her into.

i enjoyed mayfair ep 2 btw rowan looked especially beautiful and she killed and revived her future man in the same ten minutes and also grabbed some dead crows w her bare hands without a second thought. who is doing it like her!!!! #MayfairWitches

I like Mayfair Witches so far, but Rowan isn’t giving me “badass neurosurgeon” vibes so much as “anxious intern” vibes. I do t know if it’s how the character was written or how that actress is playing her.

The show version of Lasher is disappointing, underwhelming & dull. They could have really played up the gothic mystery of it—a dark silhouette of man haunting these woman, never quite catching his face but hearing his Scottish voice. Alas, no 😒 #MayfairWitches

Let me repeat it once more: Mayfair Witches is not competing against Interview with the Vampire 👏👏👏 One show doesn't have to fail in order for the other to succeed. They're part of the same franchise. One being successful solidifies the other's status and value for AMC.
