1. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

"It may sound odd at first but Myrtle Beach! Yes, it's a touristy town but there is a Myrtle Beach Safari there where you get to hold and play with baby tigers, wolves, lynxes, monkeys, cheetahs, and an elephant. You get to be up close and personal and interact with the animals. So if you're animal lovers I definitely recommend! Plus, you can purchase a photo package where a photographer will take photos of you with the animals all day long. Makes for great photos!"

2. Norway and Sweden

"We went on our honeymoon a couple of months ago to Norway and Sweden. Yes, in the middle of winter. Yes, it was a great time to go. So many wonderful wintertime activities to do. Dog sledding, snowmobiling, viewing the Northern Lights, and it wasn't even all that cold most of the time. The people are friendly and wonderful, and we had the best trip!"

"We wanted to go to Europe or a tropical island but we didn't have the funds. We decided on Maine and it was absolutely perfect! Portland had great wine and food spots. We visited the charming town of Kennebunkport and then drove up the coast to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. It's an absolutely beautiful place with gorgeous summer weather, adorable bed and breakfasts, and a great mix of adventure and relaxation. Plus, lobster every day! It was the perfect honeymoon."

The USD conversion rate is pretty favorable, it's ultra-affordable, the food is phenomenal, the people are so wonderful, and the scenery is paradise. Tons of activities like cave rafting, zip lining, and climbing Mayan temples. One of my favorite countries in the world."

"I just got back from my honeymoon a month ago, and we went to Nairobi, Kenya! It was absolutely amazing. The people, the culture, the game drives, and the food. Everything was just so incredible. Getting to experience a different country with your best friend by your side is truly the icing on the cake. Take time to go on a honeymoon! Planning a wedding is so stressful. If you have the means to do so, just go!"

"Thailand hands down! Bangkok has a HUGE city life like NYC. If you want to explore and feel one with nature, you just need to go a few hours outside of Bangkok and you're in these beautiful dream jungle-like settings. Oh, I know you want the beach and breathtaking water! [Visit] Phuket or any of the islands just south. So many amazing places to see. Give yourself at least a week there. We did eight days but we wished we had done 10 more. Everything is rich in so much culture.

Best part is you don’t have to be rich to enjoy this trip. Everything is very reasonable. You can be cheap or go all out, totally up to you. I think the main reason we would go back is the people! I truly mean everyone was kind. They love having people back in their country again since COVID and it shows. Their hospitality is the BEST I have ever had staying anywhere."

"My husband and I went to Victoria, BC. Nice little town, fairly quaint, and close to Vancouver (just a ferry ride away). I highly recommend visiting the Butchart Gardens while you're there, especially during spring and/or summer."

"We did a cruise to Australia and New Zealand. Neither of us had ever been and it was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime trip! We were able to enjoy the trip together since we were across the globe and not easily reachable. And doing a cruise meant we could visit a lot of different parts of both countries that we wouldn't have been able to easily do on our own. One port was on the island of Tasmania and we went to an animal rescue. My husband was able to pet a kangaroo. It's been seven years and he STILL talks about that experience!"
