Others began speculating over whether the entire visual was directed at both Beyoncé's husband and her father, Mathew Knowles.

One particularly powerful moment was when the mothers of teenagers Mike Brown and Trayvon Martin appeared on screen, holding photos of their deceased children.
Many praised Bey for highlighting Black Lives Matter.
