I used to line up my unwanted peas under the dining room table on the track for the leaf extension. Everytime my dad would bump up against the table while vacuuming a few would drop off. I was well into adulthood when he finally found out where those peas came from.

I used to have to budget my gas money every week, which meant that I was sometimes running on fumes the night before payday. My now fiance couldn't understand why I didn't always keep 1/2 tank full always.
