All cookies should be triple-decker, if you ask me.

In the world of cookies, bigger is better.

So it's fitting that our favorite deep-dish cookie of the moment is roughly the size of a steering wheel.

It's also filled with caramel because we are ~committed.~

Here's what you need to make it:

Soft square caramels, cookie dough, and a bag of chocolate chips.

Start by melting the caramel in the microwave:

It should take about 45 seconds. After that, stir until smooth.

Then place half of the cookie dough pieces into a greased cast iron skillet or oven-safe pan:

Press it all down into an even layer:

(Yes, we're doubling up on chocolate. No, you SHOULDN'T JUDGE.)

Top with the rest of the cookie dough:

    Then bake:

Until the top and edges are golden brown.

Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream:

    Or, you know, six.

    Then FEAST.
