New Use Found For ‘Magic Mushrooms’

Relief may be on the way for terminally ill cancer patients struggling with anxiety.

A new study claims that patients who took a small dose of psilocybin — the active ingredient in “magic mushrooms”— felt less anxious 1-3 months after consuming the hallucinogen. After years of lectures from teachers and parents, who would have thought that this psychedelic drug would be now used medically as a mood enhancer. Never say never.
