Electronic devices emit a lot of blue light, which your eyes do a terrible job of blocking. Over time, blue light may strain your eyes and lead to macular degeneration, the leading cause of vision loss. Computer glasses that filter blue light can help reduce the amount of blue light you're exposed to, plus you don't need a prescription to wear them and they work even if you're already wearing contacts.
Promising review: "I work on a computer all day, and when I'm not on my computer I'm on my phone. Blue light is a very real threat to my eyeballs, which are already sensitive just by nature of belonging to me. I've long suffered headaches, migraines, and general ocular strain. I always prefer to wear my contacts during the day, so I didn't want to throw down some mad skrilla on a pair of prescription blue light–filtering specs... They work great, though it takes a minute for my eyes to adjust to the amber hues... My eyes are definitely happier, as is my head." —Christen Moynihan

Promising review: "I bought this mouse because I have wrist and lower arm pain. I can't actively use any regular mouse more than one hour at a time without getting some pain... It's comfortable, and this is the most important thing, because so far I can use it for hours and don't have any pains. The wrist isn't twisted like on a regular mouse and I can feel this, for the better. Took me under a day to get adjusted to this angle. An interesting thing about this design is that you feel more inclined to use your whole arm to make mouse movements, which is a good thing, since doing so puts less stress on the wrist." —Dan

Promising review: "I am a student and spend 5+ hours a day studying at home. Sitting down for that long was giving me a lot of back and shoulder pain. The shoulder pain got so bad that I even started getting headaches. This back support cushion has been a lifesaver! I LOVE this thing. I noticed an immediate change in my back and shoulder pain. Furthermore, I drive over an hour to work and use this back cushion in my car to avoid shoulder tension." —A

Promising review: "I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel, very mild, when I started losing feeling in my thumb, index, and middle finger of both hands. Felt the numbness for weeks or longer and it is very distracting when your entire job is typing emails, contracts, etc. But literally within 30 minutes or so of using this keyboard — the only one that has this unique shape, apparently — the feeling RETURNS and you feel completely normal again." —TMC

Promising review: "Ideal for long hours in the office. My legs and groin muscles used to ache after a long day. I think the backs of my upper legs were pressing too hard into the chair seat pan. This foot riser has alleviated that pain. I also enjoy rocking my feet back and forth during the day to keep circulation going." —D. Martin

Promising review: "I started getting elbow pain a few months ago and thought it was due to me commuting by bicycle every day. My brother told me it could be my armrests of the chairs I sit in because he had the same pain and these Aloudy [armrest pads] made his pain go away. I ordered them straightaway, installed then on my Aeron chair and was blown away with how much more comfortable my elbows felt." —Joseph

Promising review: "I like that this chair makes my lower back feel good. It supports my lumbar so nicely, helps out my disk bulge, and I have a lot less back pain. The mesh is great because it does not retain heat, and I sit down for more than 10 hours at a time in front of my computers, so I don't overheat... Overall great chair and probably my last chair for a very long time." —The human

It is also adjustable both on the seat height [and] on the knee height making it highly customizable for people short and tall. I have chronic hip and lower back pain despite being young and healthy and this has saved me when I need to sit and work at the computer. Promising review: "I bought this along with the Dreamer Car Coccyx Seat Cushion Chair Pad-Premium Memory Foam for my wife, who drives an average of 80 miles a day as part of her job. She was suffering from back and hip pain as a result of the 'standard' seat of her 2009 car. Well, now that she has these two items, she's so happy with them, she takes them in the house and attaches them to her office chair while working on reports. Definitely a happy customer." —J. M.

Promising review: "I bought this posture corrector because I work at a computer all day, my posture is TERRIBLE while sitting at my desk, and my back, neck, and head are generally KILLING me by about 3 p.m. Even when I make an effort to try to sit correctly and not slump over, I find that eventually I've fallen into slouching without noticing while I'm concentrating at work. I anticipated some discomfort when initially wearing the corrector, based on the product description and some of the reviews. When I put it on, it didn't hurt at all. So I tightened it as much as I could. Still no discomfort. At this point, I figured that it probably wasn't doing anything, but I wore it to work anyway, just to try it out. 3 p.m. rolled around and...no headache, no neck pain, no back pain!" —Angela
