Because I will never *not* toss my dirty clothes on my laundry chair instead of putting them in the hamper.

We hope you love the products we recommend! All of them were independently selected by our editors. Just so you know, BuzzFeed may collect a share of sales or other compensation from the links on this page if you decide to shop from them. Oh, and FYI — prices are accurate and items in stock as of time of publication.

    1. A beeswax wood polisher to revive your dinged and dented cabinets and table. This is a heck of a lot cheaper than actually replacing them, and using it on a regular basis can actually help keep the wood hydrated so it lasts longer.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "I LOVED using this in my kitchen. It made my cabinets look like they were recently redone. I didn't do anything extra; I just wiped my cabinets with my normal cleaner and then used this and like magic my kitchen was brand new. I also used it on some shelving, banisters, and my hutch and they all looked amazing. And the hutch wasn't as annoying to dust for a while." —tiffany b

Get it from Amazon for $8.34.

    2. A handheld steamer that'll come in handy when you wake up and realize the shirt you were going to wear to work is balled up underneath a giant pile of clothes.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "We love this and no longer use an iron in our household. We bring this when we travel and also use it for general use on fabric at home. Love it! Leaves my clothing wrinkle free and compact." —Johnny & Cat

Get it from Amazon for $25.97.

My colleague tested and reviewed the PurSteam Elite Mini Steamer, saying, "wrinkles, you have met your match!"

    3. A cooktop cleaner so your guests won't know that the last time you cleaned the stove was...the last time they visited your house. This kit comes with a bottle of cleaner, a sponge, and a scraper — everything you need.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "This stuff is incredible. My rental apartment has a white glass cooktop and it gets nasty even if you use very clean pots and pans on it. Before I found this stuff, I thought that for sure I would lose a big chunk of my security deposit, but I have yet to encounter a stain that this stuff cannot remove. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries alternating between the paste and the razor scraper, but even the most stubborn burned-on, carbonized food bits always come off." —Max

Get it from Amazon for $10.98.

    4. And an oven cleaner for de-gunking the last five years' worth of meals from the sides and bottom. Do you ever cringe when you slide a pan of brownies into the oven and notice how disgusting the inside of your appliance is? This can help!

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "First, let me say I never clean my oven because hate it so much! It had years of baked-on drippings on the bottom and the usual brown crud that forms on the sides and shelves. After reading reviews, I decided to give it a try. It works wonders! My oven looks great and it was so easy. Follow the directions and all the bad stuff just wipes away! I've even used it on other stubborn stains on baking pans. Highly recommended!!" —E. Nyquist

Get it from Amazon for $5.89.

    5. A mold and mildew remover so you can finally be free of those unsightly black splotches on your tile grout that semi gross you out...but not enough to actually clean.

    amazon.com

Don't forget the cleaning gloves unless you want your hands to reek of bleach.

Promising review: "Easy to apply. No scrubbing. Mold was gone in a few hours. The directions say to use rubber gloves. I didn’t and my hands smelled like bleach for few hours, so be advised. This beats the heck out of anything I’ve ever tried to take mold off of grout. Worth the price. The bottle is small, so I bought two. But, one was enough for one shower enclosure with mold on maybe 25% of the grout." —Darbelob

Get it from Amazon for $12.99.

    6. A jewelry-cleaning pen to make your jewels sparkle. It's compact enough to fit in your purse so you can use it on the go, yet it's powerful enough to clean days', months', and weeks' worth of dirt and grime that's dulled your stones' shine.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "I actually don’t understand how this works so well. I used to drop my rings in a bit of watered down Windex, let them soak, then scrub with a soft toothbrush, rinse, and dry. That process took about 15 minutes, and even then my rings, and particularly the stones, were not flawless looking afterwards. I thought it did the job. ENTER DIAMOND DAZZLE STICK! I bought this after reading a BuzzFeed list and now I literally I sound like an infomercial talking about this thing. It’s incredible. First you dispense a little product, and you don’t even have to take your ring off!!! Then you scrub for approximately three seconds, rinse, and BAM!!!! Holy sparkles, Batman. My precious stones have never looked better. Even rings that looked pretty good before, I couldn’t believe how sparkly they were after this. Dazzle is right I guess. Consider me a lifetime customer." —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $5.49+ (available in a one-, two-, and four-pack).

Check out our in-depth review of the Diamond Dazzle Stick to learn more about why we love it.

    7. A pack of dishwasher cleaning tablets, because yes, you have to clean the dishwasher. They'll blast away limescale and mineral buildup for you so you can skip the bleach and end up with cleaner dishes. How? Hard water can leave behind white crusty deposits on both your glasses and plates as well as the dishwasher itself. A good cleaning every now and then can help ensure your dishes emerge sparkling clean.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "My dishwasher was getting into horrible shape. The top tray would stick and bind no matter how careful I was. The bottom tray was making noises when I moved it. The whole inside of the dishwasher was growing a coating of white mineral deposits. The washing arms were making noises during wash cycles. The dishes were not getting clean. When my order of Affresh arrived, I ran a clean cycle. When I opened the dishwasher at the end, it was clean. Both trays moved easily. The washing arms were clean. The next load of dishes was spotless. Now I run a cleaning cycle the first of every month. This is one product that I will not do without. My dishwasher is five years old, but after using Affresh it looks virtually new." —Mithrandir

Get a pack of six tablets from Amazon for $5.20.

    8. A pet hair remover for anyone loves their fur baby but also loves not having their outfit ruined by sitting on a furry chair. Roll it over your couch, bed, favorite blanket, you name it, and watch it lift the fur away. See, we can own nice things!!

    amazon.com

Promising review: "Where has this been all my crazy cat-loving life? Sticky rollers work fine for clothes, but this is the only product that has ever COMPLETELY removed all the cat hair from my bed. I have a long-haired 20-pound tabby and if you run your hands up his back a few times and fling the hair everywhere, it looks like it's snowing — he never stops shedding no matter what I do. After using the ChomChom, I can put on a black dress and roll around on my bed and not get a single hair on me. It's absolutely amazing. Everyone is getting one for Christmas, even if they don't have a pet. I don't care, it's THAT good." —Stephanie

Get it from Amazon for $24.95.

    9. A pack of foaming garbage disposal cleaner to deodorize your sink after you got lazy and let one too many pieces of food go down the drain knowing full well that you don't have a garbage disposal. 🙃

    Amazon

Promising review: "Performs exactly as describes. Have two kitchen sinks that had odors. Tried in both and both no longer have a smell. I'd highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to clean their kitchen drains." —DPK

Get a two-pack (good for eight uses) from Amazon for $9.84.

    10. A heavy-duty vacuum, because your carpets deserve some TLC too. (And TBH, this one probably works better than your old vacuum.) Bissell's Cleanview Swivel Pet has a special brush that penetrates carpet to suck up pet hair as well as specialized attachments specifically designed to swallow fur in hard-to-reach areas, like the stairs and in corners. AND! Bissell donates a portion of its sales to its pet foundation, which aims to find homes for the millions of fur babies in shelters around the country. (I'm not crying, you are! 😭)

    amazon.com

Promising review: "LOVEEE this vacuum!! We have three kids and a lab mix who sheds like you've never seen before. This vacuum sucked up an unbelievable amount of fur, crumbs, and gunk after one use. It kind of disgusted me that our old vacuum was leaving this much behind, but made it that much more exciting that this new one cleaned so well. It's fairly lightweight, maneuvers nicely, and not very loud. I love that the edge brushes really get the edges of walls — it collected a ton of extra fur that collects in those spots. I still have to test the handheld tools but have no doubt those will be impressive too!" —M Wolf

Get it from Amazon for $119.99.

    11. A set of oven liners that'll catch crumbs before they burn and get baked on. We both know the chances of you actually cleaning the oven are, well, slim, so the least you can do is get yourself a pack of these and save yourself the mess.

    Amazon

Promising review: "I got tired of cleaning the bottom of my oven out after every drip and spill, or running the 'oven clean' option, which uses up so much energy and makes my house HOT during the process. I used to have foil on the bottom of the oven to help with spills, and that improved things greatly — but then you have to replace the foil after a while. Then, I found these non-stick liners on Amazon. I had to cut them to size, which was easy to do with a simple pair of household scissors. Then I placed them in the oven (they look nice!), and I waited for it to get messy. I cooked something super messy and finally needed to clean the liner. It was SO easy; I put it in the sink and used my sink sprayer and everything immediately slid right off the liner. No problem! I have a double oven, so I was glad this pack came with more than one. I have one in each oven and one on standby in case I need it. I know that having a dirty oven isn't the worst thing in the world, but if it matters to you, try these!" —Hpg

Get a set of three from Amazon for $11.99.

    12. A set of silicone coasters, because you're an adult and that means no more leaving behind water stains. Not only will they save you from spending some serious time and effort scrubbing away water rings, but they'll also potentially prevent you from spilling coffee or wine thanks to their grooved surface.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "We absolutely love these! We have black mats on the kitchen table and these go perfectly with them. My kids can't break them, and they wash off easily! So happy with my purchase." —Corinne's Mommy

Get a set of six from Amazon for $14.47+ (available in two colors).

    13. A microwave steam cleaner for melting away the baked-on crud that's clung to the sides of your microwave since, well, we're not exactly sure how long it's been there but suffice it to say it's been awhile. Just remove Angry Mama's head and pour a mixture of water and vinegar in her body. Then, reattach her head and microwave her for seven minutes. The steam comes out through holes in her hair and softens pasta sauce stains and melted cheese so you can remove it with just a few wipes.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "Something I didn't believe until I tried it. So easy to follow directions, written on Angry Mama. Was disappointed when I opened the microwave to see the filth still on it. Was wishing it would magically taken care of itself. But all it took was a quick swipe with a paper towel and GONE. Loosened everything, which is half the process. My microwave was sooooo white once cleaned!! Would buy as gifts." —max's mum

Get it from Amazon for $8.68.

    14. A bottle of Bar Keepers Friend cleanser so your stainless steel pots and pans look presentable instead of covered with mystery stains. It's also safe to use on porcelain, brass, aluminum, ceramics, and glass.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "This is one of my favorite cleaning products for cleaning porcelain or steel. Nothing else seems to clean like this product, seriously. I think some of my tough stains might be rust-related or from hard water, and this stuff cleans it easily (better than bleach, which doesn’t!). If there’s a tough stain, I leave the solution on for about a minute or two. Then I turn on the water and wipe it all clean with my sponge. All the stains seem to disappear!! My bath tub looks as clean as the day I bought it, and I’ve had it for 10 years!! My kitchen sink is spotless as well with little effort. I’ve tried bleach in the past, but it could never remove tough stains and it had a strong smell. This product doesn’t smell as strong, but it cleans much better with less effort to boot! I only recently tried it out, but it is the only cleaner I’ll buy for tough stains from now on! I can finally get my house clean almost as well as a professional maid." —Candy21

Get it from Amazon for $7.89.

    15. A handheld vacuum that'll be your favorite sidekick when you've let the mess go for too long and need a serious solution to pet hair. It has a special rubber nozzle that picks up fur with ease, especially on hard-to-vacuum areas like stairs. There's no bag, so simply pop off the canister when you're done vacuuming and dump the contents in the trash.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "Holy crap!! Are you skeptical when it comes to buying stuff online? ME TOO! That's why I figured all of these rave reviews were a crock of crap. I've seriously bought every kind of vacuum out there, including the Rumba, which is about as intelligent as a cotton swab. But I have four cats and a golden retriever, so I was getting desperate! I believe the saying is… a picture is worth a thousand words. Check mine out (above)! Of note — the 'before' picture was taken of my dog's bed AFTER it went through the washer and dryer. Look at all of that left-behind hair!!! And the 'after' picture was taken after only THREE MINUTES spent vacuuming her bed. I. Am. SOLD! BTW, I've NEVER taken the time to review a product before, just FYI." —Luka Chan

Get it on Amazon for $29.43.

    16. A pack of stain-removing pads for the inevitable messes that come with drunkenly ordering Chinese food at 1 a.m. and mistakenly believing you're sober enough to handle chopsticks. Just press the pad onto a stain, let it sit, and remove in a few hours to a clean carpet. (These are made for pet stains, but they work just as well on wine, coffee, soda, and even blood.)

    amazon.com

Promising review: "Our poor older pup started having some incontinence issues and had several accidents in the house. I was really frustrated until I found these. They work amazingly well. They're small, so if the area was larger I had to use two or three, but they pulled up stains and saved the house from being smelly. I even used one on an older stain (that I'm pretty sure wasn't pet related) and it came up after leaving it on for about 24 hours. I make sure to keep a supply of these in the house at all times now." —MC

Get a pack of 20 from Amazon for $24.99.

    17. And speaking of wine, a red wine stain remover spray to lift spots and splatters (even ones that are old!) from your favorite shirt.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "Totally impressed! The unassuming generic packaging and label left me a bit skeptical but this stuff is almost as exciting as the wine I spilled! This cabernet stain sat on my ivory faux fur blanket for over a month before I tried this product. Completely gone in one try! Get this. Seriously. You won’t be disappointed." —PersianTess

Get it from Amazon for $6.67.

    18. A set of mesh undergarment bags so you can wash your delicates without ruining the underwire. (RIP that beautiful bra you got to wear like twice before the dryer destroyed it.)

    Amazon

Promising review: "When I got these bags (set of three large and three medium), I wasn't sure how clean my clothes would get because the weave is considerably tighter than those cheapo net bags. But I've used them five times through normal wash and my clothes are clean as ever — and the zippers on these bags actually stay zipped so there's no loose netting for the bra hooks to hook on to or shirt zippers to snag. That's what ruined the old bags. These bags are awesome, very sturdy, and protect your fragiles from getting yanked around and stretched. I haven't had any problem with unraveling and other stupid stuff that happened with the cheap fishnet bags. So glad I found these!!" —Meggie Sophia

Get a set of three medium and three large bags from Amazon for $8.97.

    19. A FlexiSnake to catch the globs of hair you shed before they clog your drains. It's collapsible and covered with 4,000 tiny hooks that snag strands that have collected in your plumbing.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "For a $5 item, this can solve a major cloggage issue! I managed to clean out my bathtub drain and now it works great. I also cleaned out my bathroom sink, which was drawing fine, but since I was already grossed out by the slimed hair I pulled out of the tub... I'm so happy to have found this little tool and suggest everyone have one on hand for clogs." —Tammy Parker

Get it from Amazon for $5.28+ (also available in dark yellow).

    20. A pack of bottle-cleaning tablets that'll remove stains and stinky smells after you accidentally left coffee in your mug a few too many times.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "Be sure to use hot water; even though it won't foam as much it seems to do a lot better job. The first time I used these on a Contigo travel mug I used room-temp water, and it just came out OK. For the next travel mug, I used boiling water and the results were terrific. It looks new again. Then I used two cubes (and boiling water) in a large old pressure cooker that had become brown inside from years of making vegetable soups, and I'm amazed how clean it came out. That pressure cooker stain persisted throughout dozens of scrubbing sessions and dishwasher runs, so I figured the Bottle Bright wouldn't help either but it did." —MisterPlow

Get 12 tablets from Amazon for $8.

    21. A brightly colored earbud organizer to make it nearly impossible to get your wires tangled. This would have been helpful all those times I tried to pull my headphones from my bag only for them to get wrapped up in my keys and then rip because I pulled too hard.

    Amazon

Promising review: "My sister-in-law is a busy mom with a bunch of kids and barely any time to get ready. So when I heard she was always misplacing her earbuds and that was eating into her gym time, I hopped onto Amazon and grabbed her the cutest earbud organizer I could find. She loves it, and it really helps because she can tuck it in her bag and even attach it to some of her workout bags." —TheOrdinaryHiker

Get it from Amazon for $5.99 (available in 10 colors and sets of one, two, or three).

    amazon.com

Promising review: "I let my tub get extra dirty on purpose because I knew this brush set was coming. In five minutes my tub was sparkling clean. This item is no joke. The flat brushes are awesome for big surfaces and the cone brush hits the hard to reach corners. I liked them so much I bought a set for my mom." —Jason B.

    Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: "These clips are amazing for organizing your desk, workplace, and/or nightstand. They are made of durable rubber, and once you stick them, they stay in place. I have one on my nightstand to hold my cell phone charger in place, which is great because I used to lose my charger cord every morning and had to reach behind my mattress every night retrieve it. This way it is kept nice and in the same place, easy to reach and use." —tammy l freeman

    amazon.com

Promising review: "This stuff is seriously amazing! I am relentless about cleaning my tub because I use it so often and always get grossed out if I don’t. Before I purchased this, I used the typical homemade recipe of bleach and powdered dishwashing soap. I’d have to run two or three cycles to get it crystal clear. One cycle with this stuff, 15 minutes, and the results are amazing! The first photo (above) is with my tub running with the solution. Then I drained it (second photo) and wiped it down with a sponge. When I refilled the tub up, and reran the jets, I kid you not the water was CRYSTAL CLEAR! See for yourself in the last photo! I’m so impressed!" —Chelsea

Get it from Amazon for $16.99.

    26. A hanging jewelry organizer to help you finally put your necklaces and earrings in order (because they're currently in one huge tangled pile). I keep the short one in my purse for my power bank, the medium one at my desk, and the long one next to my bed so I can use my phone anywhere while I'm laying down. The braiding keeps the cords from separating and fraying. They are really great quality and I never have troubles charging." —Carly Lesne

Get it from Amazon for $14.99.

    28. A leather recoloring balm to transform your years-old furniture so it looks less like it spent four years in a college dorm and then three years with roommates (even if it did) and more like it's straight from the factory floor.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "My loveseat was looking cracked and faded again after three years. (It’s 13 years old and sits in a room with a big picture window.) The product worked just as well as it did in 2016. I noticed that some buyers have reported issues with color transfer. I followed the directions on the container and never had that problem. It’s important that you wait five minutes and then buff your furniture with a clean dry cloth. I also used this to restore some leather bar stools that were looking a little faded. Our dog scratched our leather sectional, and this balm took care of the scratch, too. I only used 1/2 a container to do a love seat, four bar stools, and a few scratches on our sectional (pictured above).Casey B
