    1. A pack of light-dimming stickers so bright alarm clocks and flashing electronics don't distract you from sleep.

    The sheets

Promising review: "This is the best thing you never knew you needed. I own a digital clock with the numbers displayed in red LED light, and every night I've blocked the light with a cover so it doesn't shine in my eyes as I sleep. Silly I know, but I like my room pitch black and cave-like. On a whim I bought this product. OH MY GOD! Game changer!! For the first night EVER I didn't have to cover the clock display before I went to bed!! I had no idea how big a difference this little dimmer could make, but I'm more than pleased with the result. I can still see the time display just fine, but now my room is a happy cave! Some commenters argue you could get the same effect using electrical tape but this product is easy to remove and doesn't leave a sticky residue at all, which can't be said for most tapes. I did notice a slight lag in response when I covered my TV LED sensor, so if you're trying to block something that actually senses inputs I would maybe not suggest this. Other than that, excellent product!" —Amazon Customer

Get a sheet of more than 100 stickers of varying shapes and sizes Amazon for $5.69. These larger dimming sheets from Amazon are $8.29 for two 6-by-3-inch stickers and work wonders if you're trying to cover a larger surface area, like a clock face.

    2. A three-layer door stopper that'll block out the sounds of annoying roommates while also maintaining the temperature in your room. Installation is easy: simply cut the strip to size and attach it to your door using the built-in adhesive backing.

    The door stopper in gray

Promising review: "I’m renting an apartment and my front door doesn’t brush up against the floor. There was about an inch gap which was annoying because it meant light, noise, and bugs could get in. Ever since I’ve installed this, I’ve had almost no bugs, no light, and so much less sound! It’s great. The sound-blocking is especially amazing because my bedroom is near the front door and I hated hearing my neighbors' conversations clear as day in the stairwell. It’s not totally noise-canceling but it’s so much better." —airazedy

Get it from Amazon for $9.99 (available in four colors).

    3. A memory foam orthopedic knee pillow to help reduce back strain, align your spine, promote better circulation, and alleviate pressure on your knees, especially for side sleepers.

Reviewer with the pillow between their knees

Promising review: "I suffer from bad sciatica, so I was so excited to get this. I immediately tried it and was disappointed. My knees/legs were barely apart. They were pretty much still touching. I saved the packaging so i could send it back. That night I tried it again just to give it a fair shot. THAT NIGHT WAS THE FIRST NIGHT I SLEPT THROUGH THE ENTIRE NIGHT IN SIX WEEKS!!! And it wasn't a fluke. A week later and i'm still sleeping through the night. My hips are no longer sore in the morning, and it's not excruciating pain when I sit up in the morning. Don't get me wrong, I am still in pain, especially when bending or stooping but the all day 'just for no reason pain' has gotten a lot better. I have no idea how but this thing works. I won't even lay on the couch without it now." —Stacey Johnson

Get it from Amazon for $27.95.

    4. A collagen-coating hair treatment that'll tame your bedhead overnight. It's safe for all hair types and will revitalize a mane that's dry, damaged, and over-processed. Waking up with frizz-free hair? Umm, yes please!

    Bek O'Connell / BuzzFeed

Promising review: "My hair used to be really soft, and then I discovered hot tools and hair dye. While my hair looks good I really missed the soft texture. This works so well. There are no instructions on the box but I washed my hair with my usual shampoo, towel dried it, worked about two quarter-sized dollops through my hair, let it sit for 20 minutes and then rinsed out. I went to bed with wet hair which usually results in my hair being kind of tangled and rough looking but I woke up and my hair was as soft and silky as it was before I started coloring it. I'm totally in love with this product, I have long fine hair but this doesn't leave it greasy or weigh it down. I'll definitely buy again." —Ellie

Get it from Amazon for $7.73.

Read our review of Elizavecca's CER-100 Collagen Coating Hair Protein Treatment to learn more about why my colleague calls it, "the miracle product I've been searching for."

    5. A gel memory foam pillow for anyone whose old, lumpy cushions just aren't cutting it anymore. This one has a cool gel layer on one side that's basically music to my ears as a sweaty sleeper. The other side is memory foam so you also get proper neck support.

    The pillow

Promising review: "My favorite pillow EVER! I’ve purchased them over and over. The coolness of my head no matter what the weather keeps me sleeping like a baby. They’re so great I have had some stolen (not joking)! These are not squishy; they're just extremely wonderful for a good night's sleep. The cool gel is amazing and it can be flipped over for a less cooling effect. Also great after surgery. Highly recommend and I will purchase again and again and again. Another natural pain-relieving product! I’m happy!" —Susan

Get it from Amazon for $19.99.

    6. A bottle of OLLY sleep gummies to encourage your body to rest. Their blend of L-Theanine, chamomile, and lemon balm may help boost relaxation and increase your sleep quality.

    The gummies
    @ollynutrition / Via

Promising review: "I'm a student and at times we run on Team No Sleep. I've been known to have insomnia; it's something I've been struggling with and have refused to take any type of prescription drug. My cousin actually recommended this to me. I took some last night and I kid you not, it kicked in within 20 minutes. I slept at 9:30 p.m. last night and woke up at 4:45 a.m. ready to start my day. I woke up fresh and NOT DROWSY!!!! I LOVE the fact that I was not drowsy or groggy. If you've been having issues, this is definitely a MUST TRY! It's worth it!" —Anonvix

Get a bottle of 50 gummies from Target for $15.49.

    7. A Neutrogena clarifying shampoo to break through hairsprays, dry shampoo, oils, and whatever else is gunking up your scalp. Using this at night will make your mane so much easier to style the next morning. Clarifying shampoos can dry out your skin if you use them too often, so we recommend using it once a week.

Promising review: "This shampoo removed months/years of product build-up in my hair that I didn't even know I had. After just one wash, my hair felt lighter, finer, more voluminous, and I needed less styling products to achieve the same results. But be careful not to use this too often as it can dry out your hair. I have long, dark fine hair and I use this about once every two weeks, or once every four to five washes." —Kat

Get it from Amazon for $5.

    8. A hydrating lip balm if you haven't yet found a salve that can conquer your dry, cracked lips. This vegan, petroleum-free formula immediately gets to work adding moisture and plumpness with hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and squalane. Apply this before bed and you'll wake up with a juicy pout.

Model rubbing their lips with the balm

Promising review: "This balm feels incredible and lasts. I was using an overnight lip mask for super dehydrated skin this winter, and I constantly had small acne around my mouth. This worked better and no acne. It smells wonderful too." —Celeste S.

Get it from Biossance for $18.

    9. An intensely hydrating Glossier face mask so you wake up with brighter, smoother, more hydrated skin. It's made with sweet almond oil, squalane, and hyaluronic acid to condition and soothe.

Promising review: "I use this as an overnight mask and it's amazing! It helps calm redness and I wake up with less inflammation. It feels soothing and cooling when you put it on and I always wake up with my skin looking better after!" —Karen

Get it from Glossier for $22.

    10. A cold brew maker that'll come in handy if you need coffee the minute you wake up. Make your cold brew the night before and it'll be ready for chugging the next morning.

Diagram of the cold brew pitcher

It brews a quart (4 cups).

Promising review: "I have three of the Takeya Cold Brew Ice Tea pitchers. Awhile back I experimented doing coffee. It worked well under the same principle as making tea overnight in fridge. The issue is I like to have my iced tea as well and using one of the three for my coffee didn't give me enough flexibility. So when Takeya expanded to coffee and also a large size option I decided I needed one more! So now I have plenty of iced tea and iced coffee to get me through the week." —LizS

Get it from Takeya for $24.99+ (available in two sizes).

    11. A humidifier for adding moisture to the air. This increases hydration to your hair and skin, plus it keeps your nasal passages moist, which has the added benefit of potentially helping prevent congestion. Here's to sleeping through the night *and* being able to breathe.

    The tear drop–shaped humidifier

Promising review: "So for the last several weeks, I have been experiencing the negative effects of dry air in my home, particularly in my bedroom. My nose has been dry and sore with inflamed nasal passages along with my nose running 'like a sugar tree.' Sleeping with a fan as I have done for the past 15+ years became impossible. I don't know about you, but that combination makes for a miserable sleep. Anywho, I had never needed or used a humidifier until this purchase. Let's just say that my dreams have returned and I'm waking up to a nice mist rather than a pillow of Kleenex and a sore nose. Life is good." —Tracy Johnson

Get it from Amazon for $39.99.

    12. A weighted blanket to ward off racing thoughts in bed. Using one may increase your serotonin levels because the weight mimics the sensation of being held or hugged. The release of serotonin and oxytocin (often nicknamed the "love hormone") can lower your stress levels and reduce some anxiety, which may make it easier for you to drift off. This specific weighted blanket comes with two covers: one that'll keep hot sleepers cool and another that'll retain heat so you're cozy and warm.

Promising review: "Imagine being trapped under a 15-pound bag of beans in a box half your size somewhere, but instead of being trapped you're comfortably cocooned and the bag of beans is actually just a blanket and you're in a bed that's the perfect size. Your initial thought of a 15-pound blanket is terrifying and confusing, but once it's on, you slip into absolute bliss. This blanket gives a sense of comfortability and security, no one with zero muscle tone will be able to disturb the deep slumber you will fall into while this blanket is on you. Great for falling asleep and putting aside the worries and concerns about the monsters under your bed trying to get you, because we all know they give up at the slightest inconvenience. Also it is really a great relaxation gift for others!" —Amazon Customer

Get an 18-pound blanket from Amazon for $119.99+ (available in 10 weights and three colors).

    13. A pack of scented foot pads that'll not only make your feet smell fresh, but may also promote circulation to your feet to relieve pain and make it easier to sleep.

Reviewer wearing the pads on their feet

Promising review: "I love how I can feel the circulation once I have the pads on for awhile. They help me sleep, and I feel totally different in a good way in the morning!" —Amazon Customer

Get a box of 20 from Amazon for $21.99.

    14. A sleep-enhancing balm for anyone who's looking for a natural and organic option for beating bad sleep. It's made with chamomile, clary sage, valerian, lemon balm, lavender, extra virgin olive oil, and beeswax, so you can feel good about putting it on your skin.

Promising review: "I have a difficult time being able to wind down from my stressful job at night and fall asleep, and I don’t want to take any oral sleep aids or meds, so I thought I’d give this balm a try. Just a little dab of the salve goes a long way! Every night right before bed, I apply some on my forehead and temples, gently massaging in a circular motion, and then to my wrists where my pulse is. The scent is very pleasant, a natural, herbal fragrance. Right away I notice a soothing, cooling sensation where I’m rubbing the balm into. The ointment itself feels clean and nongreasy going on! I’ve really benefited from using this balm. I find the combination of fragrance and cooling really relaxes and calms me as I’m resting!" —Janine Jones

Get it from Amazon for $15.99 (available in six scents).

    15. Olaplex No. 3, a splurge-worthy repairing treatment that'll revive your dry, damaged, colored hair. As someone who spends four-plus hours bleaching my hair every six to eight weeks, I can 100% vouch for this miracle in a bottle.

Before and after of BuzzFeed editor who used the treatment showing it made her damaged, frizzy bleached blonde hair look smoother, shinier, and healthier
    Elena Garcia / BuzzFeed

I went from very dark brown/almost black Asian hair to platinum blonde, a color I've maintained for almost four years. I truly believe the only reason I still have hair on my head is because 1. my colorist is amazing and 2. Olaplex. Despite having pretty strong hair, I remember globs of it breaking off in the shower right after I bleached my mane. In a panic, I bought a bottle of Olaplex and my hair has been thanking me ever since. I hate how expensive a single small bottle is, but I truly can't be without this. It's reduced breakage and brittleness, minimized frizziness, and just generally helped my hair look healthy.

Get it from Amazon for $28.

My colleague (pictured above) also swears by this stuff. Check out her Olaplex review here for more deets and some before and afters that'll make you buy this in bulk.

    16. A gentle Mustela nourishing stick you'll want to keep on your nightstand at all times if you have dry skin. It's made with shea butter and ceramides that create a moisture-trapping barrier to keep your skin hydrated. And! It comes in a handy stick form so you can swipe it as needed.

    The stick

Promising review: "I purchased this product for my daughter, because her cheeks and nose were soo dry and chapped just a few days into winter. This stick glides smoothly onto her face and I can almost instantly see the relief it provides. I put a little bit of product on my cracked, chapped lips just to see and IT IS AMAZING! Super hydrating, long lasting — I LOVE much that I ordered one for myself the very next day. If you have chapped lips or cheeks, I highly recommend this product." —Chelsea Boyd

Get it from Amazon for $9.50.

    17. An acne patch for those days when a pimple pops up at the *worst* possible moment. Hydrocolloid, tea tree oil, and calendula oil are gentle on the skin while still drawing out fluids and pus from your pimple.,

Promising review: "I cannot say enough about these patches! They are my skin savior! I actually gave myself a facial where I pushed up all the blackheads and whiteheads from my pores, which is why there is so much puss on the patches (gross, I know), but I couldn’t believe all of that was trapped in my skin!! Woke up and removed the patches, not a single pimple! If I would've not put these on, guaranteed I would have woken to multiple pimples in the area. I usually break out when I try to exfoliate and extract, so I only do it when my pores start to look huge and filled (yuck). I am now a true believer, leave the 'spot treatment' creams and switch to these! They will pull out that white head and reduce your pimple to practically nothing overnight! And it’s safer than a cream that just brings all that gunk to the surface but doesn’t actually remove it... then when you do your left with an oozing pre-scar for the rest of the day! I am now a monthly subscriber. I will never use anything else. In fact, just ordered the XL acne patches to pull out more gunk on my forehead (live in Arizona, constantly sweating and naturally oily). Thank you for making such a great product!!" —jennifer9

    18. An argan oil hair mask to repair your hair's elasticity and make it soft and shiny again overnight. If you think you're awful at doing your hair, it could just be that split ends and dryness are making it hard to style your strands — and this deep conditioner can help with that. It's safe for all hair types and is paraben- and sulfate-free.,

Promising review: "My favorite deep conditioner. It makes my hair super moisturized, soft, and shiny. I like to keep mine in overnight and wash it with shampoo and conditioner in the morning. Great results!" —Kayla Kephart

Get it from Amazon for $12.95.

    19. A micellar water for sensitive skin that just might convince you to join the cleansing water bandwagon. It's great for rinsing your face on those nights when you really can't be bothered to walk through your entire skincare routine. Mustela's cleansing water is made with aloe vera extract so you'll wake up with smooth, soothed skin.

    The bottle

Promising review: "I actually got this for myself after reading about the benefits of micellar. Because of my SUPER sensitive skin (mild eczema, combination skin), I wanted to start at baby level before trying Garnier/other brands. Holy crap, after one day I can already feel a HUGE difference. Even after using my oil cleaner and wash, it still managed to take off a crazy amount of dirt, and I woke up this morning with soft hydrated skin and zero dry spots. If you're unsure about what micellar water to try out..definitely suggest trying this out first." —bohemianriot

Get it from Amazon for $15.

    20. A pack of bottle-cleaning tablets that'll lift away stains and stinky smells so you can enjoy your coffee tomorrow morning in a freshly cleaned tumbler. Each capsule is biodegradable and chlorine-free so you don't have to worry about accidentally drinking unwanted chemicals after using it. All you do is fill a dirty drink container with water, drop in a tablet, and watch it fizz and blast away any discoloration.

Promising review: "Be sure to use hot water; even though it won't foam as much it seems to do a lot better job. The first time I used these on a Contigo travel mug I used room-temp water, and it just came out OK. For the next travel mug, I used boiling water and the results were terrific. It looks new again. Then I used two cubes (and boiling water) in a large old pressure cooker that had become brown inside from years of making vegetable soups, and I'm amazed how clean it came out. That pressure cooker stain persisted throughout dozens of scrubbing sessions and dishwasher runs, so I figured the Bottle Bright wouldn't help either but it did." —MisterPlow

Get 12 tablets from Amazon for $8.

    21. A hair repair serum with hydrating argan oil, aloe vera, and vitamin E so you can literally just brush your mane in the morning and you're good to go. Hello, frizz-free hair!

Reviewer before and after showing the serum smoothed their dry split ends and reduced frizz

Promising review: "I found this product through a BuzzFeed article for those with frizzy hair and THIS PRODUCT DID NOT DISAPPOINT PEOPLE! I put this serum through the ringer; I got this to stand up to Bay Area fog AND the nasty, humid heat wave we got a couple weeks ago. No frizz, no extra curls. Nothing! On top of that, it made my hair super glossy. I'm very impressed. Heads up though, a little goes a long way. One pump is enough to cover my hair and I have medium-length hair. Also, it can make your hair look oily if you use too much. I do have oily hair so working on my ends first then working to my roots works for me." —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $11.99.

    22. A handheld steamer so you can de-wrinkle your outfit for tomorrow *tonight* instead of waking up early to iron it. Trust me, that extra 15 minutes of sleep is gonna feel so worth it.

Promising review: "We love this and no longer use an iron in our household. We bring this when we travel and also use it for general use on fabric at home. Love it! Leaves my clothing wrinkle-free and compact." —Johnny & Cat

Get it from Amazon for $25.97.

    23. A pack of dishwasher cleaning tablets so you can run the dishwasher tonight and open it tomorrow to see sparkling dishes. With these tablets you can skip the hard work of scrubbing away limescale and mineral buildup yourself. No more having to wash your dishes and plates again by hand because they're coated in mysterious white crusty bits.

Promising review: "My dishwasher was getting into horrible shape. The top tray would stick and bind no matter how careful I was. The bottom tray was making noises when I moved it. The whole inside of the dishwasher was growing a coating of white mineral deposits. The washing arms were making noises during wash cycles. The dishes were not getting clean. When my order of Affresh arrived, I ran a clean cycle. When I opened the dishwasher at the end, it was clean. Both trays moved easily. The washing arms were clean. The next load of dishes was spotless. Now I run a cleaning cycle the first of every month. This is one product that I will not do without. My dishwasher is 5 years old, but after using Affresh it looks virtually new." —Mithrandir

    The spray bottle

Promising review: "The BEST detangler out there, and I have tried them all...even the expensive leave-in conditioners that say they detangle also. Bonus: your hair smells like those orange/vanilla popsicles that are so good. I have long, thick hair and I use a wide tooth comb after the shower. I spray this on all over and have zero trouble getting through my hair! So nice!" —Alyssa V

Get it from Amazon for $5.91 (or Subscribe & Save for $5.61/month).

Promising review: "I never write reviews...ever...but I am 100% convinced that this was a product sent down from heaven to bless the souls of those suffering with obnoxiously tangled and unmanageable hair. Truly. It gave me literal tears of joy after just one use. I have long fine hair, but it is VERY thick. In a perfect world with perfect weather and perfect products, it looks glorious, voluminous and tangle-free — but that world is basically non-existent. But fear not my fellow tangled-mess ladies, for this product is here to make that world a very real possibility. Never before have I been able to brush through my hair without any snags. Never before has it taken less than 30 seconds to brush my hair after it is wet (which, come on ladies, takes freaking FOREVER). This's pure magic." —Lucy Mitchell

If this keeps up we should be rid of these little 'nose pests' soon! I was careful while putting them on the sticks but still managed to get some of the sticky residue on my fingers. All I did was wash it off with Dawn and it came right off. With having pets in the house, I'm glad to know these are a safe product." —Lois L. Meyer

Get them from Amazon for $5.09.

    27. A set of flexible curling rods so you don't have to spend three hours in the morning curling your hair. Use them on wet or dry hair and then sleep on them. The results: perfect heatless curls.

They're small, so if the area was larger I had to use two or three, but they pulled up stains and saved the house from being smelly. I even used one on an older stain (that I'm pretty sure wasn't pet related) and it came up after leaving it on for about 24 hours. I make sure to keep a supply of these in the house at all times now." —MC
