    1. A LifeStraw to give you peace of mind when you're camping. It's designed to eliminate 99% of waterborne bacteria and certain parasites, and it filters contaminants as small as 0.2 microns. Plus! Each LifeStraw will last long enough to effectively strain 1,000 gallons of water.

Promising review: "This thing is no joke! I took it backpacking on Maine's Bigelow range. When I ran out of the water I brought, I was A-OK with this. Just bring a wide mouth bottle to fill with water you find. On top of one of the lower peaks, I drank from the most disgusting-looking crevice filled with brown scum. I thought, this is going to be safe, but taste horrid. WRONG. TASTED LIKE THE FRESHEST SPRING WATER. Better than any tap. I'm from Maine, and I've tasted plenty of water right from mountain springs, so take my word. One caution: it can be a little challenging to start. You have to prove it by soaking. If it still doesn't work, blow into it a bit." —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $17.47.

    2. An outdoor drink stakes set that'll securely hold your glass of lemonade in a safe spot. No more setting your soda on the ground only for it to fall over on the uneven ground, get kicked accidentally, or be invaded by ants.

Promising review: "I absolutely love them. They hold everything from Solo cups to wine bottles to soda cans to beer bottles; they do it all! Your bottles and cans might sit at a slight angle due to how the bottom is constructed but all you have to do is take a few sips, which you are going to do anyway cuz it's your drink, to make sure that nothing spills. I suppose how much they wobble back and forth has to do with how deep you plant them in the ground but mine have been really sturdy. Would definitely buy again!" —TMC

    3. A portable, hand-operated espresso machine so the great outdoors and its lack of electricity doesn't interrupt your daily caffeine infusion.

    The espresso maker
    Amazon

Promising review: "We go to a lot of music festivals and camp. My one thing I hated was not having a good cup of coffee in the morning. This little thing made my day! My only complaint is that it only makes a single shot at a time. When there is a camp full of morning faced hippies waiting for a cup of coffee it can take a while! They do sell a larger water tank and extra grounds cups, which I will definitely pick up before next festival season. This little gadget is a game-changer with good, strong, and crema-rich shots. Lattes for all!" —Frater Zion

Get it from Amazon for $48.99.

    4. A camp stove for making it a breeze to cook dinner and charge your USB devices at the same time. And it produces 95% less smoke emissions than a regular wood fire thanks to its innovative design.

    @biolite / Via instagram.com

Promising review: "This is a great little setup for cooking. Have used it daily on my one-month car camping trip across the US. It burns hot and clean and lights up fairly quickly! Perfect combination with the kettle pot. You are able to control the fan speed and amount of air running through the fire and charge any USB device. I like how you are able to see the amount of heat it's putting off. I always bring the BioLite pellets in case sticks are damp. The pellets light up in seconds. Cleanup is a breeze! The light is a good accessory." —Jessica

Get it from REI for $149.95.

    5. A stainless-steel insert because, gosh darn it, the weather's nice and you want to have a family pizza night. Good thing this kit converts your charcoal grill into a fancy schmancy pizza oven so you can enjoy custom pies at home.

    Amazon

Promising review: "I really researched and shopped around before I purchased this from Amazon. I cooked my first pizza on it and it came out like a pro!! We will be using this especially during the summer as it pretty much stay in the triple digits here (the Mojave Desert). I cannot believe it took less than 10 minutes to bake an entire pizza. I recommend that you go to the KettlePizza website to get pointers from some of the celebrity chefs that they have videos of. These pointers really did help me to cook a perfect pizza!" —Kim Suzanne

Get it from Amazon for $115.

    6. A cooler light if you're tired of fishing around — and basically freezing your hand off — for the right drink. It shuts off automatically after 20 seconds so you don't have to worry about draining the battery.

    amazon.com

One charge is good for 60 hours of white light and up to 31 hours of red light.

Promising review: " This little cooler light is awesome! Gone are the days of 'Honey will you come hold the flashlight while I dig in the cooler?' It attached very easy; just peel and stick while making sure to keep the lens pointed down towards the contents of the cooler. The adhesive seems to be very strong and should stick for good! The light is motion activated and only turns on when you open the cooler, and shuts off automatically when you close the lid, or after about 20 seconds of the lid being open. The light is super bright! It clearly lights the entire contents of the cooler! This was a great purchase and I have recommended this to my friends." —Jo

Get it from Amazon for $11.12.

    7. A portable pop-up firepit to spare you the hassle of having to build a campfire from scratch. Set up takes less than 60 seconds and doesn't require tools, it's smaller than a camp chair when you disassemble it, and it weighs only 8 pounds.

Reviewer photo of the square fire pit
    amazon.com

Promising review: "After looking at this firepit I will admit I was extremely skeptical of the quality of it. Anyway I did go ahead and buy it, and I will say I was and am completely blown away at how this performs. Everything about this is exactly as it is described by the manufacturer. It's very easy to set up, it will hold a lot of wood, there literally was no ash that came through the screen, which doesn't even seem possible to me. There was a tiny bit of ash that was under the firepit, and I mean a tiny amount, it could blow away and you would never know it was there. Getting the fire started is very easy. This is definitely not a compact super lightweight firepit and will not do in a backpacking situation. However for car camping, at your home, a party in the park or on a river canoe/raft trip this bad boy is amazing. All in all I would say, as someone who is very skeptical of things that seem too good to be true, this firepit is the real deal. If you are reading this that means you're definitely serious about this particular firepit and I promise you that you will be so stoked you went with this one over another option." —Daniel L. Oldenburg

Get it from Amazon for $99.89+ (available in two styles).

    8. A set of color-changing inflatable pool balls that'll entice you to actually get in the pool, even if it's just to pose with your new lights for Instagram. They're solar powered and will last about eight hours on a charge.

Four different-colored balls floating in the pool
    Amazon

Each light cycles through red, blue, white, and green.

Promising review: "My pool is so old school and boring that I bought these to liven it up and what a difference!! My pool went from 'meh' to WOW! The balls are easily inflated by mouth like a beach ball. Once inflated, a few hours in the sun and they are charged and ready to go. They light up after dusk ( it has to be rather dark). There is no manual way to power them on or off; they glow all night long. The changing colors are vibrant and very beautiful. They have a loop at the top if you would like to hang them. They would be magical hanging in a tree or from a pergola. I really liked how easy these were to fill and charge, and I like the solar power and the amazing color display. They make my inner child happy." —J. Matheson

Get a set of four from Amazon for $69.99 (or one for $19.99).

    9. A portable, all-in-one golf cleaner so you can hit your wedge shots with just the right amount of spin — just like the pros. It has a built-in spray bottle, a scrub pad, brass groove cleaning tools, and a brush you can use after a round or even between holes to make sure caked-on dirt doesn't prevent you from making a hole in one.

    Amazon

Promising review: "I'll start with saying Caddy Clean is the top of the line cleaner when it comes to golf club care. If you think about it in a cost since you're spending $26 for something that can clean and care for your (very expensive) clubs and save you from purchasing new clubs a lot earlier. Not only is it efficient it is also convenient. Small and easy to carry as this all in one cleaner. The product design is sleek and professional and something I am truly happy to purchase. I have recommended it to all my fellow golfers and I am recommending it for you guys as well. If you care about your clubs and your golf game buy this product!" —Valo

Get it from Amazon for $29.99.

    10. A portable solar-powered light and charger for adventurers who want to always be prepared. This waterproof, multi-use charging station and light lasts up to 50 hours on a single charge, offers two-way charging, and weighs less than your phone.

    The light charging a phone
    Amazon

Promising review: "Love these lights. I can charge my iPhone 5S from 14% to 100% in about an hour. The quality of light is a bright, warm flood and not the cool blue LED look. They are very lightweight and are replacing all my camping lanterns. They will not sit flat due to the inflation valves and USB port, so they do not provide great side light but as an overhead flood they are awesome." —Kaztheatre

Get it from Amazon for $30.59.

    11. A waterproof Bluetooth speaker because outdoor activities are always better with good music. This small-but-mighty speaker products 360-degree sound, lasts 24 hours on a charge, and is splash-proof, rain-proof, dust-proof, and safe to use in the shower.

Reviewer photo showing the speaker is not much larger than a soda can

Promising review: "Super easy to set up, charge, pair, and listen. There’s a built-in loop, so I can attach it to my bike for outdoor cycling, a hook in the bathroom for steamy tunes, or my bag for picnics and hikes. Clear sound for listening to both music and spoken word (of course I tested both). Lovely color and sleek overall look with a range of over 30 feet. I can’t wait to bring this to the beach during the NYC summer months. True to product description." —Aminah

Get it from Amazon for $40.99+ (available in seven colors).

    12. A magical sand-sifting mat if you think it ~shore~ is annoying when you're at the beach and your blanket is covered in sand. It's large enough to fit the family, and durable, quick drying, and water resistant.

Overhead shot of the mat with two people sitting on it and plenty of room for their stuff
    Amazon

Promising review: "I used this as a 'veranda' in front of my tent in a sandy rock outcropping in heavy Wyoming wind. When sand was tracked onto the blanket, all I had to do was wave my hand or foot over the sand pile and it fell right through the weaves of fabric not to come back up. The benefits included not tracking sand into my tent, having a clean space to roll up my sleeping bag (without sand all over it), a sandless spot to lay our gear and organize, a perfect unsandy area to sit and chat with friends. I loved it. We camped on sand in 40-mph swirling gusts of a stormy weekend. On my first campout in this location (without this blanket) a lot of sand covered my gear inside the tent. But with the camping mat, what an improvement!" —Alexandra B.

Get it from Amazon for $60+ (available in sizes S–XL).

    13. A 2-in-1 portable air conditioner and cooler to keep you *and* your drinks cool. It has three different fan speeds and is powerful enough to cool larger areas, like a tent.

The cooler, which has a hose attachment on the top through which cold air blows
    IcyBreeze

Promising review: "I was looking for a way to cool a tent down during the summer months that was portable and would last consistently for six to eight hours. Something simple, built well, and that didn't need a lot of expensive accessories. I came across the IcyBreeze and it was love at first sight. It's perfect for what I want to use it for. It's well made, durable, and simple to use. Just add two or three bags of ice and a half gallon of water and you're good to go. I also really like the battery that I bought because it's small and lasts a long time and it only takes a couple of hours to completely charge up. No need to charge all night long. IcyBreeze sent me the $35 charger for free, which was very nice and I appreciate it. This is a well-made product I would recommend to anyone. The only things you really need to do is buy ice, get water, and charge the rechargeable battery for four or five hours." —Sherri Carpenter

Get it from Icy Breeze for $279+ (available in five colors).

    14. A pocket-sized blanket that'll save you space and keep your tushy dry. It's made of a durable nylon and polyester that resists punctures and is easily folded down into a square that's small enough to fit into your pocket.

    Amazon

Promising review: "We take it along on every hike. When we stop and find a spot on a rock or log, or a messy wooden bench, we spread the blanket and sit. Before purchasing the pocket blanket we'd pack a couple of bandanas. The pocket blanket provides better protection because it is water- and puncture-resistant and is larger than two bandannas. Lots of uses for this blanket: keep a couple in the car to protect car seats from kids wearing wet bathing suits, for putting on the ground if you have to look under the car, keep one in your purse for those times you encounter a soiled seat, use an impromptu surface to change baby's diaper on, use at a concert venue — and anywhere else you want to protect your bum!" —Wrapsody

Get it from Amazon for $19.99.

    15. A portable paw washer so your floors aren't covered in muddy footprints after letting your dog inside. Inside the container are soft bristles that lift dirt and grime from the pads of your pup's feet — all you need to do is add water.

Reviewer photos of the process of using the washer, showing a dog's dirty paw going into the bucket and emerging clean
    amazon.com

Promising review: "Honestly so happy I bought this. My husband would get frustrated trying to clean the dogs' paws off when the yard gets muddy and I would end up cleaning mud off of our furniture. This is so much easier and even our finicky dogs allow us to use it with virtually no struggle. Easy to empty and refill, feels sturdy." —Jessica A Suggs

Get it from Amazon for $19.99 (available in three sizes and four colors).

    16. A portable, foldable solar panel for ensuring you can charge your devices while you're off the grid and in the middle of nowhere.

Hiker with solar panel attached to backpack to absorb sunlight

    The lantern
    Amazon

I doubted that anything besides a good repellent would work, but I was wrong. I will be buying a couple more to have handy wherever I am. Go ahead and buy one, they work!" —airdale

Get it from Amazon for $32.41.

    19. A camping hammock with built-in netting to prevent any mosquitoes from terrorizing your shut-eye.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "Having never slept in a hammock before, we took these on a hike as an alternative to sleeping on a camping mattress on the ground. We tried them out for a 'lunchtime nap' and it took us about 10 minutes to put up two hammocks. The material seems durable, all the parts had a decent quality feel to them, and they help the weight and were very stable and comfortable. That night we decided to sleep in them for the whole night and they absolutely did the job. All in all we are happy campers with these purchases and they will become a regular addition to our hiking/camping trips." —Victor

Get it from Amazon for $45.99+ (available in two sizes and nine colors).

    20. A water-resistant portable stadium seat with a mesh seatback pocket that'll probably make you want to throw away your bulky camping chairs. It converts to a two-person bench pad if you lay it flat.

    The seat
    Amazon

Promising review: "Want to be able to sit down pretty much anywhere without using your abs? Well this little stadium seat is for you, my friend! Seriously it's great. I take it with me to the park, on picnics, camping, etc., and when everyone else is sitting on the ground leaning on their arms, folding up like pretzels for balance, or otherwise using their cores like suckers — I'm leaning back like a boss. It's the life. It's lightweight, rolls up to fit in a backpack or bag, and there's enough tension between the seat and the back to sit pretty comfortably. Get one for your outdoor activities. It's nicer to bring to outdoor concerts and movies than a bulky beach chair, which might block the people behind you. Be among the plebes. Sit on the ground. But do it like a champion with this stadium seat." —supershanno

    21. A sunshade triangle so you can create some much-needed shade in your backyard or on your camping trip. This heavy-duty sunshade is designed to block up to 95% of UV rays while blocking the sun to keep you cool.

    The sunshade
    Amazon

Promising review: "My pool is awesome when it gets into the 100s of degrees here in California. We decided to grab a 20x20x20 triangle and holy cow does it do a number on the backyard! Not only does it keep my pool better-shaded, but it also keeps the sun off of my back patio during the hottest part of the day."Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $26.98+ (available in five sizes and six colors).

Definitely something good to have on hand during power outages, which cause pumps to stop. Great for quick bathing in between regular baths and camping. I've used mine after workouts. Large enough to bathe. I like the thought of not only feeling clean after using these, but actually being clean. Highly recommend." —University Doc

This product is breathable, comfortable, economical, and allows you the capability of not having to 'bare it all' when nature calls. I have personally tested mine during recovery, hunting, ice fishing, fishing, camping, biking, motorcycle trips, and hiking. Freedom at last! Victoria's Secret has nothing on Kimbo’s.
