It’s a chinese vegetarian snack, made out of glutinous rice fried with peanuts, dried shrimp and some spring onions, and stuffed into a rice wrapper, then moulded into those triangle-teardrop shapes. In the Teochew dialect in Singapore, it’s called peng kueh (pronounced png kuih). You should try it next time!
