Finn from all the bright places! I have never seen bipolar disorder represented so accurately before. The way he talks about being asleep and then being awake is an easy way to describe the manic episodes and the depression, but it's really what those episodes are like.
All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven! Bipolar disorder is a vastly misunderstood mental illness and I think this book totally nailed it. It's heartbreaking and beautiful and the author loosely based it on her experiences with the illness which makes it that much better.
even after waxing or plucking they start growing back in the next day so every day I have to sit down in front of the mirror and pluck away any strays.
