Tell Us What It's Like To Work With Your Significant Other

What makes your workplace romance work?

They say that dating your coworkers is a bad idea, and it can indeed end terribly. But that's not always the case. Many couples meet at work or end up working together and are able to, well, make it work.

So if you are (or were) coworkers with your romantic partner, we want to hear from you.

Maybe you work in different roles and you keep your relationship very low key at work. Only a few other people in the company know that you two are an item, and you're all for keeping it that way. What you two do outside of work is nobody's business but yours.

Or perhaps you started a business with your S.O. and you work together really closely. Sometimes it feels maybe a little too close, but you both make an effort to spend time with friends separately and explore your own hobbies so you're not constantly joined at the hip.

Or maybe you used to work together more closely, but you found yourselves always talking about work, even on dates or vacations. And it was hard to code switch between being lovey and sweet in your off time vs. being super duper professional at work. Then one of you transferred to a different department, and it really helped.

Or perhaps you aren't technically coworkers, but you and your partner both started working remotely during the pandemic, so now you're spending all your work days together. Hearing their work persona on Zoom calls was a little weird at first, but you love getting to eat lunch and goof around on your breaks together.
