Which TV Characters Realistically Could Not Have Afforded Their Lifestyles?

It just doesn't add up.

Look, I know TV isn't real, but when it comes to money, sometimes shows come up with scenarios that are so wildly unrealistic that it takes me completely out of the story.

So I would love to know which TV characters really stand out to you for having the most unrealistic finances.

Maybe the second season of You nearly broke your brain because how does a guy who worked at a bookstore afford moving across the country at the drop of a hat, plus a one-bedroom apartment to himself in LA, AND an enormous storage unit/torture chamber?

Netflix / Via

Or perhaps you've always side-eyed Carrie Bradshaw's designer wardrobe. How was she buying all those pricey shoes while only writing one column a week???

HBO / Via

Or maybe Lorelai Gilmore's coffee and takeout spending just seems way out of control. If she and Rory are eating out for every meal (plus gallons of coffee at Luke's), it's gotta cost at least $100 a day. How does she afford it?????

Tell me about the TV character whose finances have always bugged you in the comments and you could be featured in a BuzzFeed Community post.
