There are rules in every job, but they don't all come written down in the employee handbook. From what time you should actually leave for the day to what you can and can't wear on casual Friday, the real, unwritten rules are things you'll pick up on over time.
So we want to hear from you: what are some of the unwritten rules of working in your profession?
Maybe you work in an office, and you'd never dream of microwaving fish for lunch. It's definitely an unwritten rule that you follow.
Or perhaps you're a teacher, and you've learned that what you say in the teachers' lounge doesn't always stay in the teachers' lounge. Now you're super careful not to overshare when you pop in for a chat.
Or maybe you're a chef and a big unwritten rule in your kitchen is not to touch anyone else's knives without asking. It saves a lot of time and it's safer for everyone too.
