We've talked before about millennial money tips, but what about Gen Z?
So if you're in Gen Z, we would love to hear from you about the most important money lessons you've learned so far.
Maybe you're in college and you've started working on building your credit score by buying one thing with a credit card every month and paying it off in full. You learned about the importance of credit scores on TikTok, and you're on your way to having solid credit by the time you're ready to graduate.
Or perhaps you recently started your first part-time job after school and on the weekends, but when you got your first paycheck you were shocked to find that it was smaller than you expected. So you did some googling about how to read a paystub and learned a bunch about the taxes that get deducted from your pay.
Or maybe you just moved out into your first apartment, but at first you really struggled with living within your means. A friend told you about a budgeting app that they like, so you tried it too and it made a huge difference. Planning for your bills and setting money aside has helped you figure out what you can actually afford.
Or perhaps you've learned how to spot scams on social media after almost falling for one. Now, you're very suspicious of any financial offers that seem too good to be true, and you always look up more information on "business opportunities" or "investments" before getting involved.
