Share A Word Or Phrase That You Hear At Your Job All The Time That Really Annoys You

Say "new normal" one more time...

Every workplace has its own unique linguistic quirks. Sometimes this shared language is helpful and makes it easier to communicate. But other times, it can be cumbersome, confusing, and downright annoying.

So if there's a buzzword or phrase that you're hearing a lot at work, and you absolutely hate it, we want to hear from you.

Maybe your whole office keeps talking about "synergy" — but the way you're hearing it used, it doesn't even feel like it means anything anymore. At this point, the only "synergy" you're interested in is synergistically agreeing to never mention it again.

Or perhaps you work in a café and your boss loves to say things like, "If you've got time to lean, you've got time to clean." On the one hand, good for them for finding a neat little rhyme, but you're 100% over hearing this when you're literally clocked out on your break.

Or maybe your manager is constantly talking about "low-hanging fruit," and you aren't even sure why it bothers you so much — you just hate it and you've had enough.

Share the workplace buzzwords and overused phrases that grind your gears in the comments, and you could be featured in a BuzzFeed Community post.
