It is an absolute myth that one can spot reduce fat from problem areas. These diagrams prey on women by offering them a way to “belly blast” as a target toner. It is true that it will tone the muscle underneath a layer of fat, but it wont do anything to reduce the amount of fat in that area. The best way to reduce body fat is to measure over all percentage, some areas may be more stubborn than others and that is usually due to genetic or age factors. Spot reduction is a myth!
