I’m thrilled to see Matt Smith go, personally. I just wish he would take Moffat with him. Ever since Russell T. Davies left, the episodes start strong and fizzle out like a children’s book (Starwhales and Van Gogh for two examples). Matt Smith grew on me a bit, but the writing was awful, the rules kept changing (Weeping Angels, etc.), River Song was annoying and Amy Pond was all about the comic relief…nothing like when Tennant was the Doctor. I’m excited about Peter Capaldi. I like that he’s older - I’m hoping it means a little less romance with the companions and a departure from the stupid hipster vibe. I loved his first interview and found him very charming. I can’t wait to see how he does.

Response to What Being Homeschooled Is Actually Like:
I was homeschooled and loved it. I’m sorry for the people who had negative experiences or ill-equipped parents. I have a 14-month-old son and I plan on homeschooling him as well.
