Open since 1944, this well-known eat shop is famous for its ambrosial strawberry pies. In 2011, it was named Shreveport's #1 Most Iconic Restaurant.

Tom's Restaurant is where it's at. Hearty and affordable meals are served up in this family-owned Morningside Heights landmark since the 1940s. Also: Suzanne Vega wrote a song about it.
