Paul McCartney's Newest Fans Are Grasshoppers

After nearly 50 years of touring, you'd think Paul McCartney had seen it all. Not so much.

Paul McCartney kicked off his 'Out There!' tour at the Castelao Stadium in Brazil this week. During his May 6th show, he was met with a new breed of fans.

    Thousands of Grasshoppers!

These weren't just any grasshoppers, they were Esperanca Grilo grasshoppers. Their name translates as 'hope' grasshopper. They're... cute?

It wasn't just a brief "Hey, how are you" visit. The 'hoppers stuck with Sir Paul for a majority of his three hour set.

In fact, one particular 'hopper stayed with Paul so long that he actually gave it a name. Harold. HAROLD! What a silly name for a grasshoppper. Here he is introducing Harold w/ bonus 'Maybe I'm Amazed'.
