Coming back in 2016 for a second chance, Isaiah wowed crowds with the intense maturity of his vocals. Auditioning as a 16-year-old, he went on to win the hearts of audiences.

Isaiah was mentored throughout the competition by Adam Lambert, who wasn't surprised by his win.

Reflecting on Isaiah's humility, Lambert commented on the 17-year-old's win, "the kid has got the voice man... he really just steps on the stage every time and he knows how to create magic and it's so exciting."

Performing his new single "It's Gotta Be You", Isaiah was overwhelmed by the win.
