A George Costanza-Themed Bar Opened In Australia And All Is Right In The World

Melbourne, it's time to celebrate the Summer of George.

A new bar has opened in Melbourne entirely dedicated to Seinfeld's George Costanza.

George's Bar, located in Fitzroy, is the world's FIRST Costanza themed dive bar – if you can believe that!

And it's packed with some of George's best quotes...

...plus their cocktail and toastie menus are loaded with George-centric references.

You could try The Summer of George: "Freshly squeezed granny smith apples with your choice of spirits with a splash of bitters." For something more classy, The Hand Model: "Jack Daniels whiskey smashed with creaming soda, lemon, finished off with a cinnamon powder & George's chick pea brine for some Festivus body."

"Let me tell you something, if my mom and pop ran a toastie store, I wouldn't shop there."

The bar is also on the lookout for the perfect snack to make you thirsty.

While the bar only opened on New Year's Eve, it's already made quite the splash, with Melbourne's Seinfeld fans and boozehounds alike checking it out.

The man himself, Jason Alexander, even tweeted his approval!

That's right - I may not have an Emmy, but I got me a bar in Melbourne, Australia. G'day, mates.

So grab your three best mates, get on down to George's Bar, and praise be unto Costanza: lord of the idiots.
