This Is What You Look Like Playing Pokémon go

Now the UK's no longer safe from the Pokémon Go craze, here's what you're all going to look like.

After a week of Pokémon Go envy, the UK market can now enjoy the Pikachu-hunting app.

Cardiff-based photographer Polly Thomas went hunting for players of the app on the streets of her hometown. These users were all playing the game on 13 July, before the official UK launch, having found other ways to access it. Now that Pokémon Go is finally available to the wider British public, we should all get used to scenes like this.

People were gathering in Cardiff Bay around "Pokéstops" (usually landmarks, marked on the game's in-game map).

The Pokéstops probably had a Lure – an in-game method of attracting more Pokémon to an area – attached to them.
