Reindeer were introduced to Scotland in 1952.
The Cairngorm Reindeer Herd has grown from a few to about 130.
The herd roam on 2,500 hectares of hill ground.
The reindeer roam hills that are between 450 and 1,309 metres.
They are outside all year round, regardless of weather conditions.
