Footballer Adam Johnson has pleaded guilty to one count of sexual activity with a child and one count of grooming.
The 28-year-old admitted kissing a 15-year-old girl after grooming her on the internet, The Guardian reported.
But the Sunderland winger, who has 12 caps for England and was appearing at Bradford crown court, denied two other counts of sexual activity with the schoolgirl.
Johnson, from Castle Eden, County Durham, will go on trial on Friday.
The former Middlesbrough and Manchester City player was initially suspended by Sunderland when he was arrested on 2 March last year, but the suspension was lifted later that month and he has continued to appear in matches for the Premier League club since then.
