On Friday, President Trump signed an executive order that suspended the US refugee program and blocked all people from Syria, Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Somalia, Libya, and Yemen from entering the country.
In response, protestors have gathered at several airports across the US.
The executive order doesn’t explicitly say “Islam” or “Muslim.” However, during his signing ceremony at the Pentagon Friday, Trump said he is establishing “new vetting measures” to keep “radical Islamic terrorists” out of the country.
Dozens of celebrities have taken to social media — using the hashtag #MuslimBan — to protest the executive order.
A few stars are also offering to match donations made to organizations that will fight the order and help those affected by the ban.
