Just so you know, there are spoilers in this post for Stranger Things Season 4, Severance, and Killing Eve.
Friends, time is an illusion, and we are somehow past the halfway mark of 2022. This year has been...well, we've all seen the headlines (and the Minions memes). But luckily for all of us and our precarious grip on reality, there's been plenty of excellent TV shows to keep us distracted.
Despite the fact that we could all do with a bit of comedy (Abbott Elementary, specifically, please and thank you), I want to hear about the saddest TV scenes from this year so far. Because that's just where we're at in this unusually hot July on this unusually hot planet, you know?
Maybe you can't stop thinking about Lucas weeping over Max's body during the final episode of Stranger Things Season 4 (possible resurrection via Eleven notwithstanding).

Perhaps you, like me, were wrecked by the moment in Severance where Mark's innie realizes that his wife, who his outie believes is dead, is actually alive and trapped within Lumon.

Or it's possible you haven't fully recovered from the crushing (and controversial) twist in the finale of Killing Eve.
