Community·Updated on Apr 13, 2022I Ranked The Movies And Shows Of The MCU Phase 4 So Far And I Promise Each One Will Be A ShockHere we go!by Marvel MikeCommunity ContributorApproved and edited by BuzzFeed Community TeamFacebookPinterestTwitterMailLink Spoilers ahead! Oh, and these are my own opinions, obviously. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below! 12. Loki (Season 1) Marvel/Disney Ugh, what is there to even say on this pile of garbage? It completely undoes EVERYTHING the MCU meticulously set up! Honestly, it ruined my childhood, and I could not be more upset with Marvel than I am right now. I didn't even finish the first episode this show was so bad. Not only is it the worst thing Marvel has EVER done, it's also the worst thing I have ever seen. And, for a company that has made so many of the greatest films and shows ever made, it's a real shock that this turned out as poor as it did. There was barely ANY action! What a disappointment. 11. Morbius Sony Pictures You know it, I know it, this movie stinks! And, with its Marvel connections, I'm very sad as to how the MCU will continue to go forward. 10. What If...? (Season 1) Marvel Studios I honestly didn't watch this show when it first released because animation is for children, but I gave it a watch after I decided I wanted to make this list. I watched a little bit of the first episode, but it was too woke for me, so I just gave up. Yet another agenda that Disney tries shoving down the throats of us Marvel fans who have been there since the beginning! Disney should really learn from movies like The Matrix to understand how to not make any woke movies. 9. Eternals Marvel What is there to say that hasn't already been said before? For a movie that feels like it's doing a lot, it's actually doing very little. The characters act like robots and the film gets bogged down in talking scenes, which are never entertaining. This was just a SNOOOOOOZE! I did like the second post-credits scene, though! 8. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Marvel/Disney While the show had its moments, it really dropped the ball by the finale. Sebastian Stan was absolutely incredible in this show, and personally, I was rooting for him to be Cap. Of course, I forgot about the show the second it ended, but hey, at least it was better than Loki! 7. Black Widow Marvel Sure, it wasn't as bad as Captain Marvel, but that should not impact the fact that this was the worst film of Phase 4. That being said, I should say that the action was in a lot of the movie and I liked that. The Red Guardian was the best part of the whole film and I wish he got more to do, so hopefully they green light a television series on the subject. The villain was terrible, Task Master was a JOKE! 6. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings Marvel While the first 40 minutes may have been stellar, the rest was sadly a boring slog that never really went anywhere. As with Eternals, this had MANY talking scenes which I was not into. I actually used two bathroom breaks during this film and I only go once per movie! That being said, it's hard to deny the fun that this film brings and what else are movies supposed to be? 5. Moon Knight Marvel/Disney I know, I know! Moon Knight only has TWO episodes right now, but hear me out! Even with no action and mostly talking scenes, Moon Knight is a massive departure from the PG-13 MCU. We're seeing violence, we're seeing darkness. Talking scenes may be boring (and there's still too many here), but when you intersperse horror with it, you're destined for a good show. Plus, this show is one of the best visual feasts I've ever seen! 4. Venom: Let There Be Carnage Sony Pictures Another classic case of the critics being off their rocker! Venom was a blast of a movie, but the second Venom film was also a blast as well! Just an entertaining ride from start to finish, especially since it is only 97 MINUTES! While Sonly has had a few blunders, the Venom franchise remains its top prize. 3. Hawkeye Marvel/Disney Yeah, this show was a blast. Hawkeye was not one of my favorite characters before Avengers: Endgame, but he was an absolute force in that movie! I'm so happy that Kate didn't replace him, but rather is just his apprentice. This show deals with some trauma that the MCU is best known for (at least in Phase 4). As we all know, Kingpin is so cool, so bringing him in made my jaw drop! I can't wait to see Hawkeye face off against the blind man once more. With its impeccable action scenes, Hawkeye is Marvel on top of its game! 2. Spider-Man: No Way Home Sony Pictures Like many, I was worried that there would be no way this film would live up to the hype. But by golly, did it ever! Spider-Man: No Way Home may just be my favorite film of all time (and I'm completely serious). There was heartbreak, there was action, and the references were so good! Daredevil, Spider-Men, Willem Dafoe! Is there anything more you want out of a movie? I think not. Andrew Garfield deserved an Oscar for this movie, he was THAT good! 1. And finally, WandaVision Marvel/Disney Some time ago, I lost someone I loved. It was really hard for me to keep going on, but as the show says, what is grief if not love persevering? WandaVison is not only my favorite show, it is also my favorite MCU property. The pain that Wanda went through was so hard to watch, but I kept on going. Every week was a blast, coming up with new theories and such. Sure, I'm as disappointed as the next guy with the finale not being very good, but nitpicks aside, this is an absolute must watch for anyone, and something I can safely call a masterpiece, as I have seen it about five times now.
