We hope you love the products we recommend! All of them were independently selected by our editors. Oh, and FYI — prices are accurate and items in stock as of time of publication.

    1. BESTOPE Blackhead Removal Kit removes pimples without causing unnecessary redness or spreading bacteria. This kit comes with five different needles for different pimple sizes and a case to store them in when you aren't using them.

A silver tin (shaped like an eyeglass case) is black on the inside and has five skinny slots where the blackhead remover tools are sitting. A hand is holding one of the tools which has a looped end.

Using this set is fairly easy. Just cleanse your face, disinfect the tools with alcohol, and then press the end of the tool down onto the pimple you want to extract the fluids from. The ends of these needles are oval-shaped and circular because they will add pressure to the area just outside of your bump as opposed to popping the actual bump and irritating the area.

Promising review: "My skin is super super sensitive and usually when I pop pimples, they end up looking worse than before (especially with blackheads). This kit is so amazing!!! I just poke the pimple or blackhead with the sharp end then use the loop-shaped thing and the redness goes away in about half an hour instead of multiple days! It makes my blackheads disappear, turns bumps that usually aren't pop-able into small spots that go away within a day, and makes it way less painful to pop hormonal acne! I would seriously recommend this to anyone and especially to people with sensitive skin." —Sara Velasquez

Get it from Amazon for $7.99+ (available in three color options).

    2. Schick Silk Touch-Up Dermaplaning Razors take off dead skin cells and peach fuzz from your face to make it look and feel super smooth. Reviewers also seem to be obsessed with how well this razor works for snatching eyebrows.

Promising review: "I had been getting a professional lip and chin waxing every three weeks for the past 10 or more years. I was VERY nervous about switching to shaving. After all, the idea has been indoctrinated that shaving will only make things worse. I did some research online and read over and over that shaving does not make hair get darker or grow faster... finally tried shaving and I love it. I still pluck stray hairs regularly (as I did with the waxing) and shave about every two weeks. I can determine when I need it and I don't have to let the hair grow out to a certain length as I did with waxing. Saving money, saving time, and looking better more consistently. What's not to like? One person mentioned cutting themselves. I have been careful, and have not had ANY problems. Happy I switched." —Deb

Get it from Amazon for $4.99 (three in a pack).

    3. NYX Concealer Color Correcting Palette helps you cover up any kind of discoloration. The palette features six shades which are light and medium (to camouflage spots that aren't too dark), yellow and peach (to conceal dullness and dark circles), green (to cover redness), and purple and pink (to brighten). These concealers are creamy and hydrate your skin.

Instagram / NYX Cosmetics / Via

Apply the color that will conceal the spot that you want to cover and then put your foundation on top of it as usual. NO, you won't have a purple spot or green spot of concealer sitting on your face. Once you apply your foundation, it won't be detectable at all. Happy blending!

Promising review: "This year I've been trying to get really familiarized with makeup and this seemed like a logical concealer palette to get because of red acne scars on my cheek. This concealer has been amazing! It will cover your blemishes and once it's blended in no one will know that you have green gunk all over your face! I haven't ventured out too much and used the other colors very much but those work wonders if you have bags under your eyes!" —Erin K.

Get it from Amazon for $5.16.

    4. The Essence sheet masks set addresses so many different skin concerns like dryness, dullness, and firmness.,

Promising review: “I have been using these face masks for about two weeks now. A friend of mine recommended that I try these for my acne-prone skin. I have never tried any Korean skincare products before. I've only used drugstore and Sephora skincare but it has done nothing for my skin. I decided, why not? It's cheap, I have nothing to lose. After my second mask, I felt a difference in my skin. It was so soft and smooth. My acne has been clearing up. I can't say that it is because of these masks alone (because I simply don't know) but if you are considering it, just buy it! It's fun and easy to do. Also a good way to de-stress and just chill out for 20 minutes or so.” —Mai

Get it from Amazon for $9.99 (available in a pack of 16).

    5. A set of hand creams features a variety of different scents for smelling good and handling that winter dryness problem.

The scents include lemon/ginger, aloe, lemon/olive, coconut, lavender, avocado, and green tea.

Promising review: “I am super picky about hand lotion and I love these! They smell great — light and pretty. They are moisturizing without being slimy. Love, love, love!!” —Gabe L.

Get it from Amazon for $19.98 (available in a pack of seven).

    6. Radha Beauty Rosehip Oil diminishes acne along with fine lines, stretch marks, and hyperpigmentation. Plus, it promotes nail health! (Um, it might even improve your credit score based on this long list of improvements...?!).

It's also a cruelty-free product as it's not tested on animals. Score!

Promising review: "This oil is amazing!! It has evened out my skin tone, balanced my oily and dry patches, and cleared up blemishes all in only two weeks of use. This is the best my skin has ever looked. Everyone needs to use this oil!!! This has made such a difference with my skin that friends and coworkers are even noticing. I lather it on generously every night and again in the morning. The oil does have an orange color but once it is absorbed into the skin you can't notice. My only complaint is that it has left a little orange stain behind on my pillowcases. But if that is what it takes for me to have beautiful skin, I can deal with it!" —Alyssa

Get it from Amazon for $14.95.

    7. A Spatty Daddy mini-spatula scoops up the last little bit of lotion, shower gel, or liquid makeup easier when it runs super low and you haven't had time to re-up. This way, you can still breeze through your morning or bedtime routine.

Promising review: "I hate leaving that last little bit of moisturizer, cleanser, or shampoo at the bottom of the container. These are ingenious. The large size works for my jumbo bottle of shampoo and Philosophy cleanser. The small size gets every drop of moisturizer out of the Clinique bottles. Where have these been? Why didn't someone think to do this earlier?" —Mermaid222

Get it from Amazon for $11.70 (available in two colors and a multi-sized pack of two).

    8. Mario Badescu Drying Lotion treats pimples overnight with salicylic acid, calamine for cooling and soothing the inflamed area, and sulfur to draw out oil and impurities. This drying lotion is meant for whiteheads although some reviewers say it helps treat bumps before they fully form., Mario Badescu / Via

This drying lotion, per the obvious name, is a DRYINGGGGGG lotion, which means you want to use it to spot treat only to ensure that it dries up the infected pimples and not your overall skin. The brand recommends you use a cotton swab to apply it directly to pimples. Using this all over your face every single day (especially with that prominent sulfur ingredient) is simply not the move, even if you have oily skin. It could cause more blemishes so less is way more, peeps. Two major keys to making beauty products work for your skin are to note their ingredients and use them the way they are designed to be used. Copy? K! By the way, this drying lotion is vegan and cruelty-free.

Promising review: "I've been wanting to buy this for years but never took the plunge because I thought $17 was too expensive for the tiny bottle. Psssh. I finally bought it and it works even better than I thought. I have a serious picking/squeezing problem but this stuff dries up the zit so quick that I don't have time to pick! I should have bought it sooner and will never not have it in my arsenal again. Excellent stuff!" —Angela Yocum

Get it from Amazon for $17.

    9. A bowknot headband holds your hair back while you do your skincare routine so you don't waste time fighting with wisps of hair or trying to get product out of your locks.

Promising review: "I received my elastic hairband and I absolutely love it. I can't have a bad day if I put this on and look at myself in the mirror. Call that what you want but I've had a hard time finding a hairband that works for me. I usually have to use a headband that puts pressure on that bony part behind the ear. It hurts! ... I appreciate that this has elastic to keep it on in the front of the head as well as in the BACK of the head. This sucker doesn't move which I appreciate when I'm trying to do my skincare/makeup. A small part of me wishes I could wear this in public but alas, no. Not socially acceptable unless I'm in costume or doing some sort of consultant work. Also, it's so darn cute... If you're even thinking about it, then DO IT!" —Jenty92210

Get them from Amazon for $6.99 (available in three colors).

    10. e.l.f. Cosmetics Blemish Control Face Primer makes acne prevention part of your entire beauty routine. It primes your skin for foundation application as it goes with ~all~ primers but there's a bonus with this baby: It also has salicylic acid, tea tree extract, and vitamin E to make sure your beat face stays breakout-free.

In case you aren't well-versed in the world of makeup and haven't been using primer, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! Ha! I kid. But seriously, you should be applying a primer ~after~ your moisturizer but ~before~ applying your foundation. Its purpose is to minimize the look of pores and overall texture so that your foundation spreads the way you want it to. If you have acne-prone skin but like to wear makeup, then it makes total sense to use a primer that fights off those uncomfy breakouts. This is also just a generally smart choice for OG makeup-wearers since it's so easy for different makeup formulas to clog pores and create pimples for anyone. It's also a cruelty-free product.

Promising review: "So I recently started using a new hydrating foundation that I've been obsessed with. However, I noticed my face was starting to break out with continued use. Fortunately, I was able to find this primer to wear under the foundation and it works perfectly! I used it for a couple of days and my acne started going away and there weren't any more breakouts. Yay! It functions great as a primer but be sure that you've completely blended it out as it is, of course, a different formula from the rest of the e.l.f. primers." —Evidently Noah

Get it from Target for $10.

    11. OR, Touch In Sol No Pore Blem Primer that transforms your face into a smooth, even canvas for makeup. It's made with green tea extract and collagen to protect and moisturize your skin.

Promising review: "I wanted to give this product 10 stars but was only limited to five :( This stuff is AMAZING!!!! I'm almost 30 and my face has become super I can fry chicken on it by the end of the day. So for months, I've neglected to wear any kind of foundation or makeup in general. After reading reviews I figured I would give this a try. The glow it gives you is AWESOME!!! It makes my skin so soft. I'm probably going to wear just this and no foundation 50% of the time. I went for it and did my whole face and ladies, you know that could mean several steps of products. After the Texas heat...and the sun...and amounts of sweat, my face was PERFECT......STILL! No pores. This is literally sent from heaven!!!! My ONLY dislike is the fact that you cant purchase this in five-gallon buckets!" —Jessica

Get it from Amazon for $14.30.

    12. Thayers Witchhazel Facial Toner tightens pores, clears up acne, manages oil production, reduces redness, and decreases inflammation. It'll also help maintain the proper pH balance of your skin which is responsible for making your other skincare products the most effective. Per the description and the reviews, this is the skin whipper upper your face may thank you for after just a few weeks of use.

Promising review: "This is the new holy grail of my skincare routine. I have extremely sensitive skin and this doesn’t burn my skin at all — not even around my mouth. It has significantly decreased my little whitehead breakouts and I have seen improvement in the blackheads on my nose as well. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or tight but even after cleaning my face, I will still pull the cotton away with stuff on it when I use this. It's rare that you find a product with good, natural ingredients that actually work." —Nicole Pearson

Get it from Amazon for $8+ (available in three scents).

    13. CeraVe Vitamin C Serum smooths skin texture, protects the skin against antioxidants, and helps even the skin tone. The entire formula is 10% pure vitamin C, which is the primary agent for evening the skin tone. It also features hyaluronic acid which makes the skin retain moisture. I just started using this serum (it's been about two months) and I must say that I do notice that my texture has improved and my skin has more of a glow!

I'm hoping that over time, it will even out my skin even more but I know I'll see the more drastic changes over the course of a few months. So far, so great though! I've also been using the CeraVe brand for years and swearrrr by it. For your sake, this is also the part where I plug in that hella dermatologists and estheticians recommend the CeraVe brand to people A LOT.

Promising review: "I'm already a longtime user of Cerave products. As someone with sensitive, combo, flaky yet somehow also oily skin prone to breakouts in middle age (acne on a wrinkle is not what I meant by looking 'younger.') Cerave cleanser and moisturizer have served my skin well. Still, at 51 I was getting some spots. I started using this silky, easily absorbed product day and night and the entire look of my skin has changed. My tone is more even. It is very moisturized with just this serum alone, even during a midwestern winter. I highly recommend this product unless it causes it to be sold out in which case, please don't use this product." —Life Out Loud

Get it from Amazon for $16.10.

I come out of my bath feeling soft, so clean, moisturized, smelling gorgeous, and feeling truly pampered. Whether you use it in a tub or shower, it’s equally as enjoyable, and although it seems to be a touch on the expensive side, each one provides about 30 uses. I have enlarged pores in my T-zone and issues with blackheads around my chin and after one use, my pores appear smaller and tighter and most of the smallest blackheads and bumps are gone from around my chin. I am impressed but I think with regular use it might make an even bigger difference — maybe a couple of times a week. 30. Dermora 24-karat gold eye masks help decrease puffiness and dark circles. At-home spa day, here you come!,

These eye masks are vegan and cruelty-free.

Promising review: "OK, so I had really low expectations for these. I thought at worst they would reduce some puffiness and feel good under my eyes. They worked so much better than that. I am a mom of two... I don't sleep well as it is and given that I am now 39 and not 16, that shows up in my face, particularly under my eyes lately. Sometimes I have puffiness but what I noticed most was the dark circles. I store these individual packs in the fridge and popped a set on one evening just before bed. I left it on for 20 to 30 minutes and when I took them off? WOW. My eyes looked younger and MUCH less tired. I wish I would have taken a before and after photo. Honestly, I was really surprised. I always try things like this with a hefty dose of speculation and low expectations. This has given me the result that I have been trying for with about 20 different under eye creams I have sitting on my bathroom counter right now. It is so worth a try. At the very least, they feel refreshing under your eyes and on your skin! I know results aren't the same for everyone given genetics, reasons for use, expectations, etc. — but I am going to be sending some to my mom!" —Bamgela

Get them from Amazon for $11.95+ (available in a 15-pack and 20-pack).

It's also vegan and cruelty-free!

Promising review: "I have been using this product for maybe 10 days and let me tell you... My acne and hyperpigmentation have DEFINITELY diminished. My texture is gone and my redness is almost gone. I was worried when I read some reviews saying it was drying because my skin is pretty dry in the winter, but it’s not that drying at all. I’ve been using it with The Ordinary's Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and they work great together! My skin overall looks a lot healthier." —Cristinaeg

    32. HoneySkin Face & Body Cream helps with clearing up flare-ups associated with rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, and more. It features manuka honey (reduces inflammation and balances pH levels) and aloe vera (soothes inflammation and moisturizes).

    It's 100% cruelty-free and vegan.

Promising review: "I am absolutely blown away by the results from using this product. I have moderate rosacea made severe by pregnancy and was at a major loss as to how to manage it. Unable to treat my rosacea as I normally would and with my sensitivity at an all-time high (I couldn’t tolerate anything more than Vaseline), I decided to give this a whirl and could not be happier that I did. I think my picture speaks for itself but within one week, this cream SIGNIFICANTLY improved my rosacea and sensitivity. After a month, my skin was completely smooth with minimal redness and scarring left from the months-long flare I’d been having. Fan of Honeyskin for life here!!!" —LR

    33. A Deciniee Rose Quartz Roller and gua sha stone set can give you the face massage of your dreams. Ya' know, if you ever did dream about a face massage. The roller and stone are meant to help depuff and soothe the skin, and can also be used all over the body.

It also comes with instructions for proper use.

Promising review: "I am seriously obsessed with this jade roller and gua sha set! These are ideal to help improve fine lines and improve circulation on your face. My mom is almost 70 and she swears by this...and she looks 25 years younger! I love putting my set in the refrigerator because when the tools are cold, they are more effective. Both the jade roller and gua sha are made of high-quality jade and no chemicals. It's an easy way to give yourself a relaxing spa day. It helps to reduce puffiness under your eyes as well. Lately, I have been also using this on my neck for my double chin. This is such a great massage body tool as well. Give it a try!" —Amy S.

Get it from Amazon for $17.05 (also available in jade).

    34. Weleda Skin Food moisturizes and repairs the skin so the winter weather doesn't dry it out. It's made of sustainably sourced ingredients including rosemary leaf, pansy flower, and organic sunflower seed oil. The plant-based product is thick and strong enough to be used on the entire body but gentle enough to put near the sensitive eye area. Several reviewers noted that this is a cult favorite product that's made top beauty lists in magazines for years — and yet this bad boy remains under $15.

Promising review: "Yes, this all-natural product is great on hands and feet, but what I am thrilled about is how it works in my facial skincare routine. At night, after all the cleansing and moisturizing, I pat a very small amount of Skin Food on my marionette lines, my lips, upper lips, below my eyes, and on the crows' feet (making sure not to get this too close to my eyes), and finally on the lines of my forehead. It makes a huge difference in my 66-year-old, dry, sensitive skin. I would give this 10 stars if I could. I applied this at night before bed the first time and could see a difference the next morning. My skin is so dry that I can do the same thing in the morning on days when I don't have to immediately go somewhere as it takes a little bit of time to soak in on me. It comes out of the tube somewhere between a cream and an ointment but seems to melt when you rub it between your fingers. I also love the smell and will keep using this product as long as it is available." —Dallas Baby Boomer

I tried the body butter in this line and although it provides more moisture to the skin, I wanted a product that moisturizes but also absorbs and is never sticky. This is it!" —Saltwater Diva

The three travel sizes are perfect for home and away. The case is luxe and sturdy. I also repurchased the La Mer Fluid Foundation for the winter and there is nothing like it. It matches me well and has skincare benefits. A little goes a long way. The set and foundation work well together for dry winter skin." —Trixxi

    40. Cuccio Revitalize Cuticle Oil has the high-brow shape of an expensive perfume bottle yet actually helps whip the skin around your nails into shape and nourishes your nails so they grow faster.

Promising review: "I don’t write many reviews but have to give credit where it’s due. I NEVER can grow all 10 nails out. Some break, peel, etc., so I might have a few nice ones but until this product, never 10. Now, I have 10 long, strong nails! I’ve used this daily (sometimes multiple times a day) for about a month. I got a manicure yesterday and could finally do the French style due to the length. I also tried one of those 'pens' with nail oil, and while it’s somewhat more convenient to use, the environmental impact of plastic was not worth the convenience of having the oil in the car or having the little brush. This stuff works great, smells great, and comes in glass. FINALLY, a product that does exactly what it claims!" —Never home but still want it nice.

Get it from Amazon for $6.90+ (available in two scents).

    41. Hairby Facial Cleansing Brush is made with silicone and looks JUST like the Foreo — but for less than half the price tag and WHEW, your wallet is finally going to agree with you on an impulsive electronic skincare buy. This gadget exfoliates the skin with a gentle vibration and it's USB chargeable!

The brand says that you can use it for up to a full month without having to recharge it.

Promising review: "First off, I hardly ever write reviews but this product is so great I feel like it deserves a shoutout. I have been using this face brush for about a week now and I have already noticed that my skin is looking healthier and more vibrant. Dark marks from a recent breakout are clearing quicker than ever and my skin feels smoother which are all-around positives for a girl that already had a pretty in-depth skincare routine before purchasing this brush. I recently tried a friend's (much more expensive) Luna Foreo facial brush and I can confidently say I prefer the Hairby facial brush. The cleansing surface of the Hairby is slightly stiffer at first but with regular use has become just as soft as the Luna. The pointed design of the Hairby helps clean around my nose and chin easier. Overall it's a great product that gives you great results at a fraction of the cost of other 'top-of-the-line' facial cleansing brushes." —Rachel Lynch

Get it from Amazon for $17.99.
