A Dream Balm in a round purple container
    Woodland Herbal/Etsy

Btw, it's made by Woodland Herbal — a small Ohio-based business that makes skincare, salves, and tea blends.

Promising review: "I tried it last night and I haven’t slept this hard in a long time. The smell alone is soothing when you put it on your temples as you drift off to sleep. I usually toss and turn but I slept like a rock." —Emily Irvin

Get it from Woodland Herbal on Etsy for $13.

    2. OR wireless sleep headphones that'll play white noise or whatever music you'd like to catch some ZZZs to — all inside a headband that'll fit comfortably around you so your ears don't get sore and you won't have to lay in a weird position to fall asleep.,

Promising review: "I am so impressed with this product! I need noise all night but the TV wakes my husband up if I leave it on. I put these on when I go to sleep and listen to a show or podcast. I am sleeping better than I have in ages. I don’t hear my teens as they clomp up and down the stairs or even my husband when he gets up through the night. I’m a small woman and I was worried they wouldn’t stay on but I can move through the night and they stay in place. The headphone part isn’t uncomfortable when I sleep on my side. I would highly recommend this!" —Jessica Derby

Get it from Amazon for $19.99 (free shipping; free one-day shipping with Prime).

    3. A set of positive affirmation cards — to help you speak life into yourself during "woosah" moments that'll inevitably come.

INTO IT! INTO IT! INTO IT!

Get a pack of 52 cards from Paper Therapy for $24.99.

    4. A BREAD Beauty Curly Essentials Kit that'll basically give you your whole wash day in a box. No more worrying about how products pieced from different brands will work together. 'Sall in the box, curlfriends!

two packets of conditioner and shampoo, a glass bottle of oil, and a large white scrunchie
    BREAD Beauty Supply

The brand is Black woman-owned, based in Australia, made for hair types 3A–4C, and classified as a Clean at Sephora beauty brand.

I've been using these products for at least the last four months (minus the oil which I have not tried yet) and I love how they work on my 4C kinks, coils, and curls to achieve moisture retention and overall softness. Between the shampoo and conditioner, I actually adore the shampoo a little more since it has a creamy/milky texture and doesn't lather too much (my preference). Still, the conditioner is pretty solid for restoring moisture and other nutrients. I've also grown to love that both those products come in packets and not bottles. They are a little different from product packaging that I've used in the past but I realize I'm able to get out the very, very last drop of product with these squeezable packets. It's far better than futile bottle shaking and I know when I throw a packet away, that it's truly empty and I got all my money's worth, baby! 🤑

I enjoyed it enough to re-up on another box set for myself and get two more for friends. The set comes with the milky shampoo, conditioner, an oversized hair scrunchie to hold your hair back, and a non-greasy oil to help you seal in all that moisture.

Promising review: "My curls feel so refreshed and bouncy after using this combo. It’s such a confidence booster to see your hair shine as it’s supposed to — not weighed down by products that aren’t made for curly/textured hair. The hair oil smells like candy and the scrunchie is silk so doesn’t damage my hair :,)." —Alexxandrawho
Get the box set from Sephora for $58 (free shipping on orders $50 and up).

Promising review: "I have to walk my dog twice a day in good and bad weather. I bought this raincoat in the middle of a hot, rainy summer so I didn't want it to make me too warm. It is perfect. It is very lightweight and keeps the rain off but I don't get all sweaty. I bought it in an extra-large size (even though I would normally wear a medium or large) so that I can wear it over bulky sweaters once cooler weather sets in. I think it will work out great. It is larger but doesn't look sloppy. I especially like the stretchy cuffs that keep the rain out of the sleeves. Double fabric on the hood is another nice feature. All in all, it seems well made and I hope to wear it for a long time." —Jeloise

a rectangular sorter with silverware in it

Promising review: "I have a tiny kitchen with only three drawers, so space is at a premium. My silverware organizer took up almost all of one drawer, so this organizer is a godsend. You can fit quite a few spoons etc. in each slot. My beater attachments fit perfectly into the top two hollows. I will say I have to flip my forks over face down to be able to shut and open my drawer, but then the drawer itself is kind of shallow. You NEED this if you have a small kitchen with few drawers!" —Mialro

Seriously, laundry is enough of a pain, so to not fight with hangers will be wonderful. It arrived double-boxed and nicely packaged within. Assembly was simple with a total of four screws to attach the vertical pieces to the base and the wrench included. No personal tools were needed. The hanger stand doesn't wiggle and seems sturdy. Hopefully, it stays that way because this has saved me a ton of room and hassle! I'm buying another for child-size hangers." —Kara Adams

This is great for helping you locate bags easily while you're at the wheel but also for preventing them from falling over and dumping the contents all over your floor.

black plastic hook around the stem of a car headrest with the handle of a bag hanging from it

Promising review: "What a great idea! This is the handiest contraption ever. You simply raise your headrest about 1/2" and clip this to the headrest's post. It is firm and secure. My handbag's often heavy and this doesn't make it tilt at all. I gave one to my daughter who uses it in her car, too. She loves it as her car doesn't have much floor space as her center console is wide and she often has passengers. Great value for something so useful!" —Just My Opinion

It has never fallen off the dishwasher, and you can tell from a distance whether the dishes are dirty or clean unless you forget to turn it, of course." —Melanie DiBona

    19. A bag-organizing insert for anyone who's as tired of digging into their black hole of a purse as I am and needs to literally get their stuff together, immediately. You and I can ~finally~ find what we're looking for without feeling like Mary Poppins., Amazon

The insert features one large pocket, four small pockets, two zipper pockets, and six mesh pockets.

Promising review: "This bag has revolutionized my life! As a professional woman who needs to stay organized, my purse was my downfall. All of my adult life, I have fumbled to find things on the bottom of my handbag no matter what the size. I have even tried carrying a flashlight to find things but I could never find the flashlight. Do I have a pen? It's got to be here somewhere. Paper? Yes, I think I have paper. Well, it's crumpled, but it's paper. Safety pins? Maybe, but it will take an hour to sort through everything else to find them. Maybe if I dump everything out on the counter, it won't take so long... NOW, I am the picture of efficiency. Wallet, pens, paper, cords, phone, keys, gum, safety pins, comb, ID badge, mouthwash, lipstick, cold capsules, and more are all tucked nicely into this travel bag which easily slips in and out of any purse I choose to carry. I purchased the small and medium-size and they fit perfectly inside my purses. The organizer holds a ton of stuff and everything is standing up in full view. It seemed to be easier to wake up to me. There is also a sleep feature which will lower the light and sound as time runs out. My African violets plants all got several blooms on them! This worked wonders for my plants that don't flower also. Promising review: "I wish I'd had these for the last 15 years. If you have electronics in your bedroom and hate the light they put out, then this is what you're looking for. Now all my chargers are nice and dim, my Bluetooth audio device no longer guides ships safely to shore, and I can leave my amplifier on a sleep timer without planes headed into the nearby international airport mistaking it for runway lights. If you have an overly bright indicator light under a smooth surface, this is the solution... I used to have to open up my electronics and draw on the LEDs with a Sharpie or stick black sheets of paper in front of the lights, but this is a much simpler solution." —J.G. Kerns

Promising review: "I bought this bag last year in camel and black, and have waited to see how it held up before reviewing. I’ve had it for 10 months now and have used it daily, and as a carry-on on fights. I’ve loaded it down (overloaded, to be honest) with so many items that it was hard for me to carry — but not for this bag to handle! It is such an impressive bag! I wasn’t sure when I read 'high quality synthetic vegan leather' but let me assure you – it is wonderful. Every part of the bag looks and feels like soft leather. I believe it looks even better the more it’s used! I receive compliments on it all the time and have had no issues with the material or even stitching (and I am not easy on my bags or purses). I’ve used a leather cleaner on it once, with very nice results." —Kathy

She was so impressed with the results that she pulled out of her retired paring knives from a junk drawer — a filet knife and a huge 12-inch American-made chef's knife that was about 30 years old — and asked me to sharpen them. I was able to bring back a cutting edge on all of them! Maybe not as sharp as new but plenty sharp for use in the kitchen..." —Rick T.

    Buzzfeed / Natalie Brown

BuzzFeed editor Natalie Brown gave the produce-saving containers a go and was wowed by the results after 10 days of storage! Peep what she has to say about these handy dandy containers:

"On March 5, I put half of my fresh strawberries in the medium-sized container and left the other half in the clamshell container they came in from the store... 10 days later, the berry I left in the original container was dehydrated and blemished, with wrinkled, crunchy leaves. (I'm not eating the leaves, but still.) But the produce-saver strawb's as fresh as it was on day one! Not that I wouldn't eat the dehydrated one if that was my only option, but given the choice? I'll take a fresh strawberry every day!"

Promising review: "These baking mats are absolutely fantastic. The quality is superb, and SUCH a good price. I use them for just about everything I put in the oven from oven pizzas to cookies. You name it! I also love that besides food sliding easily off the non-stick surface, that they help protect all my baking sheets and such. It’s also super handy to just throw them in the top shelf of the dishwasher or even just wipe clean... I’ve had these mats and used them almost daily for almost a year now. They still look brand new and I have had no problems with staining, melting, or the mats becoming worn. When using them, I cook most items at 375 degrees but have used them at up to 425 degrees several times with no issues so far... These things are fantastic and have paid for themselves many times over with the superior non-stick surface, ease of clean up, and the cost of parchment paper and or/aluminum foil I used prior to discovering these." —Jezzhani

Promising review: "I just adopted my beagle about eight months ago and have been struggling with cutting his nails. He hated it, I hated it. I could not bring myself to spend $10 for someone to do something that I had the tools for. So my dog suffered, I suffered...for eight months until I decided to just give up because they were getting ridiculously long and I took him to Petsmart. I figured that I would watch Petsmart cut his nails two or three times and waste $30 watching them do it until I learned it. Then I discovered that they grind nails. Whoaaaa! I was like, 'what is a grinder?' The Petsmart lady pulled this nifty little gadget out of her dog nail supply bucket and I took pictures of it. It was really easy to find here on Amazon. I think hers was the 7700 but this one is $20 cheaper. I have been using it for several weeks and cutting his nails is actually kind of fun now. He is a bit scared of it, but I think he will get used to it. It smooths out his nails and files them away. I don't think I'm ever going to have to go back to the nail scissor with this thing. It has also held on one charge for several weeks, I have yet to recharge. INCREDIBLE! The cat does not like the sound. Otherwise, I would have used it on the cat as well." —Princess

a bathtub with the long body pillow laying in the bottom and coming up the back to support the back

Promising review: "I LOVE this product! I have whiplash and the pillow provides nice support for my neck while the deluxe model mat provides a cushion for my aching back. Additionally, I usually slide down into the tub because I’m short. The pillow and mat provide support so that doesn’t happen. I have a semi-porous finish on my tub, so it’s very hard to find a pillow that will adhere to that surface. This one has many extra-large suction cups, holding the mat in place. For anyone having trouble with that issue, the trick is to put the mat in before adding the water and press hard on each suction cup. The suction cups are easy to remove. Just empty the tub and slide them... So, all of you bath lovers out there, add your Epsom salt or whatever and relax away!!" —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "Where has this been all of my life? Always been on the lookout for a mascara that looked more ‘au natural.’ Especially with COVID, wearing a mask all day at work, I’ve stopped wearing makeup. Having a full beat of just eyes and lashes seems too extra (for me personally). I got the brown one to not be too intense and will be buying black too. Also, I'm sending them to my bff’s as 'just because' gifts for a little pick-me-up during these neverending times. No more trial, error, and smudging away product since you can get it right on the first try with this stamp.

Promising review: "Let me start by saying this isn't my first cat-eye rodeo. I've tried the taping method, normal liquid liner, plastic winged stamping devices, stencils, and more! So when I saw this I thought, 'Meh, why not give it a shot?' It's not like my hopes were high since nothing else has worked as it should. Well, this gem arrived and I immediately had to try it out, all while laughing at how terrible this would probably turn out. To my surprise, I put the left cat-eye on first and it was perfect aside from needing to connect it to my current liner. I thought this was a fluke and did the right eye... Again, it came out clean and perfect! I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE BEEN ABLE TO DO A CAT-EYE IN UNDER 10 MINUTES, LET ALONE THE 2 MINUTES THIS TOOK TO DO! There were no sloppy streaks that I had to touch up or anything you would expect. Just a clean crisp line. I love that it has two ends as well, one with the stamp and one with a thin tip so you can connect your liner and cat-eye. I can now do a cat-eye EVERY day and look/feel like a baddie and everyone can think I spend hours doing my make-up in the morning." —LadyMeow

    47. The Spontuneous game for days when you and your fam get bored and want to have some sing-a-long fun. This game requires one player to choose a word while the others think of a song with that word in the lyrics. Note: You do not have to have the voice of an angel. In fact, it'll make for a much funnier experience if you sound as terrible as possible., Amazon

Promising review: "The game brought laughs and tears running down our cheeks as the whole table would break out into a song. This game is fun for any family who wants to have a good time, is willing to laugh at each other, and can think fast on their toes. The rules are pretty simple and the turns around the table go fast. We had to think of about nine trigger words each and play with about nine people as well. The game works for both partners and individuals. I would recommend anyone play the game and take it to every party. Introverts do have a hard time playing when there are a lot of extroverts who will shout and yell the lyrics right over the top of someone quiet. Make sure you have a team spirit in mind and remember that the game is supposed to be fun for everyone, and you won't regret purchasing this game." —Canary

    48. Wood polish and conditioner to keep even the most high-traffic wood surfaces in your house looking brand-spankin' new. One scroll through the before-and-after pictures for this product on Amazon and it'll be very clear why it has so many five-star reviews.

Promising review: "This stuff is absolutely AMAZING. My wife and I were getting tired of looking at our worn-out cabinets and wood paneling and were very close to paying a professional thousands of dollars to refinish it all, but then we came across this product. Our paneling and cabinets were looking rough. We have two dogs that jumped up and scratched places. We also had an area that was damaged by water spots where our dog bowls were and several other areas that were just worn from heavy traffic... This stuff was like a magic eraser for water spots, scratches, scuffs, and any other blemish. We simply wiped the product on with a paper towel and let it sit for 20 minutes before wiping it off with a clean towel. Everything looks brand new. I'm buying a couple more so we can finish our cabinets and wood paneling. We're so glad we found this product." —Kris

    50. A tub drainer to catch all the hair that would normally pile up in your drain. It'll also be easy (and yea, kinda disgusting) to pluck out and clean when needed. And you'll always be able to prevent a clogged drain before it happens.

And in case you were wondering, one reviewer did show and share that YES, it'll catch curls too!

Promising review: "Before using the Tubshroom, I used a flat hair catcher on my tub/shower drain and cleaning it was gross. This one really does the job nicely. When you lift it from the drain, the hair (absent gunk since only hair remains) is caught by the lip. Hence, you can easily remove hair with a tissue. Also, since there are plenty of little drainage holes, it doesn't get moldy compared to a flat hair catcher that covers the top of the drain. The material is soft and easily pliable, thus, fits the drain and catches all hair. It's well worth the cost compared to hiring a professional drain cleaner." —Dr. SG

    51. Avarelle Acne Absorbing Patches that'll help shrink pimples as soon as they appear. This is a godsend that'll prevent you from getting too handsy with the pimples, popping them, and then spreading that icky bacteria.

The patches are made of hydrocolloid with a hint of tea tree oil that's meant to minimize redness, decrease the size of the overall acne spot, and shorten the time frame of a blemish.

Promising review: "I’ve tried so many brands of pimple spots and these are hands-down the best on the market. I’m a performer at Walt Disney World and a clear complexion is required. Last night, I put these on a few acne problems — a small cyst, a whitehead, and a pimple I shouldn’t have picked that has been a bump for about three weeks now. I just woke up and am writing this review in disbelief. THEY'RE FLAT! Gone! All of them! I could cry I’m so happy. The packaging is also ideal because it allows you to conveniently and easily peel the stickers off without stretching them out or folding them back on themselves. Do yourself and your complexion a huge favor! Have these on hand for a stubborn zit when you really need help. Make sure you apply them to completely clean and dry skin." —Caitlyn

So, this product has been a savior for me. I can finally sleep in peace without having to worry about anyone trying to open the door when I am inside the room. It is super simple to use and also comes with a good manual. It also came with a small red pouch so I am definitely planning to carry it during my travels and use it at hotels or motels. I am very happy with this purchase." —Anuja Patel

Promising review: "I love this thing! It has a thick protective plastic sewed on the inside so cleaning up spills is super easy. Plus, it came with a roll of plastic garbage bags that fit perfectly inside. It's a heavy-duty car trash bag and very good quality. I was honestly expecting something thin and flimsy. That is not what I got at all. It holds quite a bit of trash. I'm a mother of two and car junk adds up really fast. So glad I bought this because it has come in handy." —BonBon

Promising review: "Do I really need a tea bag organizer? That's what I was thinking when I ordered this. And when I took it out of the box. And when I filled the first little bag holder. But, as the pile of empty boxes grew larger, I knew the answer was yes, I do need a tea bag organizer. I was using a whole shelf and a half of jumbled tea boxes which I had to sift through to look for a specific tea. In the end, I think this held about eight or nine boxes of tea bags (I crammed some of them). I am so happy that I got this!" —Sarah C.
