We hope you love the products we recommend! All of them were independently selected by our editors. Just so you know, BuzzFeed may collect a share of sales or other compensation from the links on this page if you decide to shop from them. Oh, and FYI — prices are accurate and items in stock as of time of publication.

    1. A witchy graphic tee to snag in time for spooky season (esp if you're with the spooky shenanigans year-round, in ~witch~ case, you'll need three because there's always power in that, no? 🧙🏿‍♀️🖤)

heather in a t-shirt reading "support your local witches"
    Heather Braga / BuzzFeed

It's from Femfetti, a woman-owned lifestyle shop based in Columbus, Ohio, where you'll find a variety of cool, themed items including graphic tees and other fun finds arranged by holiday!

Heather says: "Is there anything better than a fun graphic tee? In my opinion, no one does it better than Femfetti. I love this 'Support Your Local Witches' tee because I try to pretend it's ~spooky szn~ all year long. Don't sleep on their 'Future Ghost' sweatshirt either! Myself and another coworker got matching ones last year."

Promising review (from a customer that's not Heather): "Amazing quality! Shirt has a soft, vintage cotton feel without being thin. Size up for a more flowing, oversized fit. This shirt is cute and so so comfy." —Dani

Get it from Femfetti on Etsy for $25.60+ (available in sizes S–4XL).

    2. A box-top sewing pattern so you can turn downtime into a brand-new sweatshirt to cozy up in this fall. Look at you being creative!

All Well Workshop, Rachel Dunkel / BuzzFeed

The All Well Workshop is a woman-owned small business in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, founded by artists and collaborators Amy Bornman and Amelia Greenhall. The shop creates "simple, intuitive, and super-hackable sewing patterns" for newbie and OG sewists alike. Please note that this listing is a digital pattern you can print on standard paper at home or on bigger paper in a print shop.

Rachel says: "My partner and I were recently gifted a sewing machine from his parents and, having never really sewed before but with too much time on my hands, I've started off on the journey of sewing my own clothes. The All Well box top was my second ever project and, reader, I loved every second of making it. The instructions are *much* clearer than the ones you get with patterns from big companies, but the best best best part is how customizable it is. All Well has managed to strike the balance of being very instructional while also giving you the tools you need to be extremely creative. Being new to sewing, I was dreading the potential years of being beholden to pattern instructions before I knew enough to flex my creativity, but this pattern gives beginners and experienced sewists alike the ability to make the garments their own. I love every garment I've made from this base.

"The pattern comes with four base variations: the sleeveless box top, the long sleeve box top, the ruffle top, and the box dress. But these variations can be distinguished even further using the 'Hacking Guide' that's included with the pattern. The guide advises you on how to make patch pockets, split hems, use color blocking, and so much more. So far I've made a sleeveless box top, a long-sleeve box top, and I'm almost done with a ruffle box dress in two-tone plaid color blocking — can't find that on the rack!"

Promising review (from a customer that's not Rachel): "This is the first item of clothing I ever stitched. Made the sleeveless box top, box top with cuff, and the long-sleeve box top. Used a range of fabrics. Instructions were excellent. Turned out really well!" —Shankari Sharma

Get it from All Well Workshop on Etsy for $14 (the pattern come in six sizes ranging in bust sizes from 32"–62").

    3. A French butter crock so there'll always be fresh, softened butter avail at your place — plus one simple yet beautiful pottery design added to your kitchen decor. Bagels are about to hit different in the mornings, friends! 🥯😋

    Rachel Dunkel / BuzzFeed

It's from CPClayArt, a small business based in Weston, Florida, and run by potter Cristina who proudly turns "dirt into art" that you'll marvel at and actually use in the house.

Rachel says: "I'd go so far as to say I'm a butter fangirl, so of course I want nothing but the best for my favorite dairy. This butter crock isn't just gorgeous, it keeps butter unbelievably fresh at room temperature. Now, you're guaranteed to always have some softened butter around so you don't have to do the trying-to-spread-cold-butter-on-bread-and-failing tango. Just put some butter in the top portion, a little water in the bottom portion, and put them together to make a perfect seal. This baby also just looks fantastic on my countertop. Love a functional piece of art!"

Promising review (from a customer that's not Rachel): "Bought a ceramic French crock to replace an old glass butter dish. The ceramic work is beautiful and looks great in front of the spice rack. Easy to set up and the butter is fresh and easy to spread. Never going back to a regular butter dish!" —Blair Cavanagh

Get it from CPClayArt on Etsy for $37 (available in three colors).

    4. A gothic-style initial necklace you can add to your ever-growing collection of minimalist yet statement-making jewelry. Express yo'self with a lil' bling, baby!

    Genevieve Scarano / BuzzFeed, JWLGANG

It's from Jwlgang, a small business based in New York City that specializes in personalized jewelry made for gifting (and yes, gifting yourself counts but did you even have to ask?).

Genevieve says: "If there's one thing I'll treat myself to, it's cool jewelry. I've bought rainbow clay earrings, a nose-shaped ring, and other baubles I wear on the reg. The latest addition to my collection is an initial 'G' necklace. I have a long French name, and squeezing nine letters on a chain is kinda difficult. This tiny piece still works and I love its Gothic-inspired design."

Get it from Jwlgang on Etsy for $19.99+ (available in four finishes, four lengths, and in capital or lowercase letters A–Z).

    5. Or a coin necklace if you're not into initials but very much into pieces with a lil' history behind them.

OmiWoods / Etsy, BuzzFeed / Christine Forbes

This is the Jamaican coin necklace, made by a Black-owned jewelry shop called Omi Woods that makes modern heirlooms made of authentic coins from different countries (like Egypt and Ghana).

Christine says: "My dad’s side of the family is Jamaican so I bought this necklace to feel closer to my roots. It’s a great statement piece on its own, but I often layer it with other necklaces. I really like the pendant because it subtly pays homage to a rich culture without seeming forced or corny. Not a day goes by where I regret purchasing it."

Promising review (from a customer that's not Christine): "So worth the wait! Each item I've purchased from Omi Woods is high quality. They are elegant, delicate, refined, and have an Afrocentric aesthetic I haven't found anywhere else. These are no exception. I wear them often. Love. I continue to be a loyal customer." —Ibid 16

gree te fiti holding Moana in her hand with the quote, "There's just to telling how far you'll go"
    Little Era / Etsy

OK now, can we just BASK in the power of Te Fiti's story for a second?! An evil goddess (Te Ka) who's had something invaluable taken from her and is choosing violence every single day until it's returned to her? And when it's returned to her, she transforms into her true nature, which is the gentle Mother Nature, Te Fiti?!! So basically, she wasn't evil at all and justified in her anger because she needed her heart to make the world flourish. LISTEN, I CRIEDDDDDD. 😭 And I only almost cried when I bought this pretty art print for myself and it arrived in the mail. It was shipped quickly and came in the perfect, cardboard envelope so there wasn't a single crease or wrinkle and the paper was super quality. The artwork itself was super clear and just as vibrant IRL as it looks online. I'm going to cherish my personal Te Fiti forever. It just reminds me that it's OK to love myself and fight fiercely for the things that matter to me and to the world. 🌎💕

Also, of course, it's from a small print shop Little Era in the UK that makes wonderful, colorful prints for different seasons, movies, and more.

Promising review (from a customer that's not me): "This print is absolutely stunning. It looked great online but in person, it is 100% better. Photos just don’t do it justice. The artwork is just wonderful and printed on a high-quality card. It truly captures Te Fiti in all her glory and is so vibrant." —Naomihumeniuk

Get it from Little Era for $4.65+ (available in three sizes).

    7. An oversized tee inspired by Taylor Swift's "Folklore" album so all you die-hard Swifties who love the singer can literally say it with your chest. [Btw, there are actually SEVERAL Swifties on our team who own this tee proudly. We're just showing you Emma rn.]

    Emma Lord / BuzzFeed

Editor Emma Lord (pictured above) lead the charge and convinced me to buy it in a larger size so I can cuddle up in it. It's the perfect subtle nod to Taylor Swift!"

Promising review (from a customer other than Heather and Emma, LOL): "I love this shirt!! It shipped so fast and I love the super-cute packaging she did and the little card it came with. I messaged her about sizes and she got back to me so quick and let me know that the sizes are actually unisex so I ended up getting a medium and it’s the perfect oversize fit. Salem365

It's from Salem 365, a small shop based in Brooklyn, New York, and run by proud Afro-Latinx shop owner and creative Nandy del Castillo! She adores "psychological thrillers and stories that amplify Black voices" and is an avid fan of, you guessed it, Lovecraft Country. (And I'm 1,000% sure she shares our sentiments that the show was canceled far too soon 😭.) Also, I'm sooo digging her sticker with Akasha, the queen vampire from the Queen of the Damned, filmed and played by the late R&B singer Aaliyah. So cool!

Kit says: "If you haven’t taken the time to be swept up by the sci-fi horror that is Lovecraft Country, it’s time to get on it. It’s like The X-Files mixed with Indiana Jones drenched in Black history excellence. But, after any good show, you wanna find merch to rep your fave characters. This vinyl sticker of the main characters, Atticus and Leti, was a godsend and will definitely hold me over until the official merch drops."

    Emma Lord/BuzzFeed

The pill box is from Pretty Picture Gifts, a Washington-based Etsy shop established in 2012 that makes badge Reels, night lights, wedding gifts, flasks, and more.

Emma says: I bought this a few months ago because I take a thyroid pill every morning and if it's not in my direct line of sight I will simply forget it exists, but it has also been helpful in organizing clutter on my nightstand in general — the pockets are deep enough that I put in emergency Advil in case I wake up in the middle of the night with a headache, so I don't have to clutter my nightstand with that bottle, either. The shop also has a ton of other designs and larger pillbox options if you're looking for one more tailored to your needs!

Promising review (from a customer that's not Emma): "These pillboxes are so lovely. The monogram is so pretty, and they are deeper on the inside than what I expected, which is nice. Clementine is 10 pounds and Salty is 12 and I found the small fits them both perfectly (and with room to spare). I absolutely love the fact that I have Harry Styles accompanying me on my trips to the Starbucks drive-thru and the grocery store, and can't wait for all the long road trips we'll take together someday. LOL, no, but seriously...this air freshener smells SO GOOD. I ordered the sandalwood vanilla scent, and I can't recommend it enough. I will say the scent starts off pretty strong, but over time gets more subtle. If you're sensitive to strong scents, you might want to consider getting the unscented version of this. Also, when your scent fades OR if you order the unscented version, you can add your own favorite scent to it, or just order a new one, because why the heck not? There's no such thing as too many Harry Styles air fresheners."

It's from Salted Burns, a woman-owned small business based in Saint Johns Park, Florida, that makes the coolest, funniest candles to match anyone with even half a personality.

Ali says: "I love this candle for several reasons. 1) It fulfills my minimalist aesthetic I have in my bedroom, 2) it smells divine, and 3) it's literally me in a candle. I always joke to my friends that I go to bed at 9 p.m. (no I don't actually fall asleep), but that's my bedtime and as a 27-year-old I am proud of it (LOL). This candle has such a pleasant aroma and has a nice, clean burn. No one wants a candle with black smoke spiraling off the wick, and this one fits the bill."

Promising review (from a customer that's not Ali): "In addition to sending a candle as a gift, I bought one for myself. I'm so in love with the brown sugar fig scent! Also love the honeysuckle scent of the tea light the seller included. Highly recommend this shop — will be buying more!" —Summer Lyons

Get it from Salted Burns on Etsy for $20 (available in eight scents).

    25. A handmade Bali wood lamp – it'll look as cool and interesting during the daytime when it's off as it does when it adds a glow to a dark room.

The quality is excellent and it *always* becomes a conversation piece thanks to the striking design. I highly highly recommend it! BTW, this shop is owned by designer Lauren Berkman and based in Dallas, Texas."

Promising review (from a customer that's not Mallory): "So beautiful!!! The seller shipped this almost immediately and it arrived a few days later safe and sound. The lamp is beautifully made and just what I wanted. I put a warm LED light in and it creates the perfect ambiance. Awesome quality and great seller!!"—Sarah McQuade

    26. A T-shirt roll holder to keep tops organized annnnd show off your collection of very cool graphic tees. Get this to let the good times (and tees) roll!

My closet door closed with several shirts hanging from a hook at the top of the door. The shirts are attached by rolling them up and putting them through stretchy loops.

The Roll Keeper is owned by master crafter Traci, who is based in Kenso, Washington — and there are tons of different roll designs for different things like bottles, towels, thread, and way more!

Mallory says: "Before getting this, I was driving myself up the wall with my bad folding habits. I basically shoved all my shirts into the storage drawers under my bed, because I have a teeny-tiny closet (the picture above gives you a solid idea of how small it is). This has given me a massive amount of clothing storage I didn't have before. The quality is stellar, and Traci is 10/10 the most thoughtful person I've purchased an Etsy product from!"

Promising review: "I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. Shipping was so fast. It was very easy to get everything rolled up and there are adjusters on the ends of the strings to tighten and loosen as needed. I put some tank tops in there and was able to roll three to four together in one slot so it holds a ton of shirts and even pants! It has saved me so much drawer space and is very sturdy and durable. Amazing quality!" —Shea Gabehart

Get it from The Roll Keeper on Etsy for $16.99. (Psst, it's also available on Amazon for $19.99 in three sizes and two colors.)
