Pauline Hanson "Very, Very Confident" She'll Win A Senate Spot

Remember Pauline Hanson? Well the woman who wants to hold a royal commission into the religion of Islam claims to be well on track to win a senate seat in Queensland.

Senior Hanson adviser James Ashby told BuzzFeed News that the early results made them "very, very confident" that the One Nation leader will not only win tonight, but that two other seats are also in play."Early results have us very, very confident for Pauline. But we're hoping to pick up two other seats," said Ashby by phone."Malcolm Roberts might take another senate seat in Queensland and Damian Huxham in the the lower house seat of Hinkler."Hanson, who has lost a string of state and federal elections over the last 20 years, was last a federal senator in 1996. Her policies focus on limiting immigration and holding a royal commission into the religion of Islam.On early counts, One Nation is picking up between 10 and 15% in some seats in Queensland.
