Scott Morrison Just Dropped One Of The Worst Political Lines Of All Time

Got it? Good.

Posted on

Treasurer Scott Morrison has delivered one of the most headache-inducing political answers of all time, in response to a question about emissions reduction targets.
We say what we mean, we mean what we say, we do what we say we'd do in the way we say we'd do it.

The government has been criticised for not making climate change a more significant issue at the start of this election.

Prime minister Malcolm Turnbull, who once was rolled by members of his party's right wing for advocating strong action on climate change, has been silent on the issue.

The former crusader for an emissions trading scheme mentioned "climate change" precisely zero times during his election pitch on Sunday afternoon.

At least Morrison is here with his mind-boggling Dr Seuss-like recitation of the government's commitment.
