Sleeves Are The New Dress Trains According To Everyone On The Emmys Red Carpet

Who needs to go to the bathroom when you look this good?

Goodbye dress trains, hello sleeve trains. The biggest red carpet — well, purple carpet — trend at the 2019 Emmys was very hands-on.

And it made for a much more interesting night of fashion than usual, as evidenced by Pose co-creator Steven Canals.

Steven shut down the purple carpet in a sequined Viktor Luna look that had the longest sleeves you've ever seen.

He worked the look so hard, you don't even realize how heavy carrying around these sleeves all night would be.

Patricia Clarkson, who was nominated for an Emmy for her role in HBO's Sharp Objects, wore a miniature version of the look — which seems a lot easier to go to the bathroom in.
