Jennifer Lopez Is Tired Of Being Called "A Liar" For Saying She Hasn't Had Botox
"I don't have to lie about things."
There's a reason Jennifer Lopez named her pioneering celebrity perfume Glow: Her skin has always looked incredible and, at 51, that's as true as ever.

But some fans have been calling J.Lo out, saying she’s not being completely honest about her flawless complexion. They think she’s lying about never having Botox or plastic surgery — and she’s over it!

"Please don't call me a liar. I don't have to lie about things," J.Lo said, while maintaining that she hasn't had Botox, in an interview with People. "I've been pretty honest about my whole life... I'm telling you what I do that works!"

For years, she’s credited everything else to her glowing skin, like getting tons of sleep, wearing sunscreen, eating a diet rich in greens, avoiding smoking, alcohol and caffeine, practicing meditation and affirmations, and, of course, drinking lots of water.

She told InStyle in 2016: "The number one tip is to always get enough sleep. I can’t stress this enough. Ideally I would love to get nine or 10 hours of sleep, but either way, I always make sure I get at least eight. I also definitely think beauty comes from within – you have to have keep your mind, soul, body and spirit in sync. I am a firm believer in meditating and when you are happy and feel joy and love, you radiate beauty."
Olive oil, which is a key ingredient in her new namesake skin care line, is another thing she swears by.

Of course, there are tons of other aesthetic treatments that celebs do for their skin that don’t require injectables, like expensive facial and skin resurfacing treatments. So if J.Lo does do those, it can certainly help! (I would definitely like to know what she does, BTW!)
While she may not partake in Botox herself, J.Lo doesn’t hate on those who do.

"I don't judge anybody. If you want to do Botox and injectables, that's fine! But I don't want people lying on me and saying, 'Oh, she's trying to make believe that this stuff works,’” she said to People.
“One of my big beauty secrets is that I try to be kind to others and lift up other women. I think that that is important for us to do for each other instead of trying to tear people down."
