11. Hancock This one might actually happen. Will Smith and Peter Berg are interested in making a sequel. This was such a great idea for a film, I think they could do a lot with a sequel. Maybe bring in a super villain or give Hancock a coke problem...just sayin. Also, check out this deleted scene of hancock showing off his super sperm. Kinda disturbing! 10. Beetlejuice Tim Burton was approached about doing a sequel, the rumor is he sent the studio "Beetlejuice goes to Hawai" to scare them off. In all fairness we did get a cartoon but I would have loved to see more of the undead world. Bring back Alec Baldwin and Gina Davis too! 9. The Incredibles Another one that could get in production in the next couple of years. Now that the family has fully developed its super powers, its time for the next chapter. And when has Pixar ever shied away from making a sequel? 8. Superbad Ok, we had the high school story. Lets get the college version! This coming over age tale has such a great cast but its time is running out as the characters are soon to look like full grown adults....except for Michael Cera. 7. Serenity It was such a big deal just when the movie came out, imagine if a sequel ever takes off?Joss Whedon will have a lot more clout after the success of the Avengers. It's possible for this sequel to realistically happen. 6. Half Baked The problem with a lot of sequels is timing. What are the actors all doing now? Patiently waiting by the phone for this sequel to happen. Even if it was made today, the group could be all grown up but the ending of this movie did have a where are they now so this might be a long short to hold the integrity and Dave Chappelle's attention span. 5. True Lies A boy can dream, right? This one doesn't look like it's going to happen. James is also working on the next Avatar film as well. Here is a quote from Jaime Lee Curtis."That will never happen. It won't happen primarily because of 9/11. Jim (Cameron) said to me that we can't ever make a comedy about terrorism again, or certainly we can't for the foreseeable future. To try to do a comedy around that kind of activity would be impossible today. You might want to go see a movie with Elisha Dushku dancing around, though. But I don't think it's ever going to happen. In fact, I know it will never happen and it shouldn't happen."damn. 4. Groundbreaking at the time and still if a sequel was made today, I'm sure it would be visually impressive. Maybe the CGI of today would make it irrelevant...or a plot point. 3. Dick Tracy Was there ever a movie set up for a sequel that never delivered? So many fun characters and so many story lines from the comic book! I'm thinking some day, someone will pick up on this. 2. Twister In a world filled with sequels, how was this one missed?Although there are talks of this happening, I feel like we could have had 3 or 4 by now and it wouldnt be annoying. The twister genre of movies is limited to just this one flick. 1. Mac n Me The movie promises that "We'll be Back!", well 26 years later and I am still waiting!A poor man's E.T. but a golden rule now in cinema, dont plan your sequel before the film comes out!
