He Went On Holiday And Said 'Don't Touch My Stuff'
We've all been there. Leaving work for a holiday, wondering if your colleagues will do something to your stuff while you're gone. It wasn't growing grass in the keyboard, or wrapping the whole desk. But Dan's fears for his desk were well-founded. In a work prank for the ages, see how one man's quest to touch as much of his mate's stuff as possible started small, and built a community over two weeks of hilarity. Everyone needs a friend like Joe.
On day three, Dan's friends were beginning to twig that Joe was on to something
Day four, and Joe had some emoting to do.
Day 5, and Joe needed to innovate to keep his fans entertained so Jordan got screen-shamed.
Monday came again, and with it, another touching experience. And some interesting time-zone translation.
Joe was gunning for Blake on Tuesday...
Wednesday rolled around, and became a trans-Pacific work reunion. Dan got Rishi to touch Joe's stuff...
Day 9, and Joe was feeling the pressure.
Day 10, and it had been 28 hours since Joe's last post. Peeps were worried. He appeared with a no-touch touch and order was restored.
Two questions though: how did the fish get on the desk, and where is the goat?
Six days passed. There was no touching. Joe's new fans were sad and took action the only way you can in the 21st century: with a hastag.
The very next day, Joe touched us all with his best effort yet...
... but then Dan came home.
Joe came back for one last hurrah, and his fans were delighted. There were double entendres and triple-touching action...
... and then, it was over. Thanks for touching our hearts Joe. We all want to have a friend like you.
