Amazon has a list of products called “Movers and Shakers,” which is pretty much just fancy talk for things that are currently ~trending~.

Here are some of the coolest and most useful things found on the list this week:

1. A graphic novel / cook book hybrid that'll help you learn how to prepare Korean cuisine.

Promising review: "This book is much more than a cookbook! You learn about Korean food and culture through entertaining comics, and the recipes show you how you can make many different dishes using the same handful of staples. The illustrations (there must be 100s) are adorable and descriptive. I especially love the gorgeous watercolors that mark each new chapter: the paintings somehow make the dishes look more delicious than high-res/styled photographs would. Even if you don't cook you'll enjoy the author's stories told through comics, the amazing artwork on each spread, and you'll probably end up cooking some tasty treats from the book!" —Julee Song

Price: $11.99

2. A set of 120 gel pens that will make your middle-school-self super jealous.

Promising review: "These are the best gel pens I've used and I've bought several sets of other brands. You don't have to scratch on paper to get them started and they glide while coloring." —Diane

Price: $24.99

3. A chopper that's basically a knife and a cutting board all in one.

Promising review: "My husband can not cut cheese to save his life. The cheese would be hacked up with all different thicknesses and shapes. I gave him this Clever Cutter and now he slices cheese like Gordon Ramsey. He is able to cut clean, consistent slices to put on his Triscuts." —DSMITH

Price: $14.99

4. A copy of the "Journal of Impossible Things" (plus a mini sonic screwdriver) for Doctor Who fans.

Promising review: "Great for cosplay or for little Whovians as a toy! The pen lights up at the end, but doesn't make any noise. The book's writing is slightly difficult to read, but the drawings are gorgeous! It looks like real leather and it even has extra pages in the back for you to add your own adventures!" —Amazon Customer

Price: $19.95

5. A nebula-print PopSocket (grip and stand) for your phone.

Promising review: "This is such a simple product, but so useful! I've been looking for some sort of grip for my phone, but I didn't want anything cumbersome. This is perfect. It very easily expands and is great for anyone with arthritis, drops their phone a lot, desires a better grip when taking photos, or doesn't want to carry a separate phone stand." —Max

Price: $9.95

6. Inexpensive, non-sheer leggings for people who don't want to shell out for Lululemon.

Promising review: "I go by the motto of 'don't expect too much or you'll just get disappointed,' but ohhh boy, these babies don't disappoint." —Amazon Customer

Price: $16.99

7. A low maintenance (you never have to change the water or a filter) aquarium.

Promising review: "I have always wanted an aquarium, but I have been put off by the maintenance requirements. It wasn't so much that I was lazy (I am), but that I couldn't picture having the time to change the water weekly, etc.. I decided to give the EcoQube a try, and I'm so glad I did. I've had mine for over five months and I have never had to change the water." —Mary P. in San Diego

Price: $119.99

8. An adorable lip gloss making kit that comes in an ice cream cone truck.

Promising review: "I surprised my three little girls with this cute gift. The instructions were clear and my kiddos enjoyed every moment of making their own lipgloss and keeping it in the cute Num Num." —Aaron J / Shamiah J

Price: $29.94

9. A car washing and dusting mitt that'll make your hand look like a Muppet.

Promising review: "EXCELLENT!! I have a two seater roadster convertible that sits too low to go through a car wash. It is black/black/black soft top. These mitts are great for washing the exterior without worrying about scratching the paint and don't leave any lint or fuzz when they come in contact with the black soft top. They're also great for dusting the interior without fear of damaging the burl wood dash!" —Susan Boesch

Price: $14.97

10. A Lego advent calendar for people who are (holy shit) already gearing up for the holidays.

No reviews yet... because August just ended!

Price: $29.99

11. A portable gardening stool that turns into a kneeler when you flip it over.

Promising review: "This bench is wonderful for kneeling to sow, plant, and weed. Tipping it over to the bench side makes for the perfect bench to prune my roses." —ClassicalMusicLover

Price: $21.99

12. A two-pack of baby coveralls available in 8 different animal-prints (from kitties to monkeys to kangaroos).

Promising review: "Absolutely adorable! I purchased these for my little niece and they couldn't be any cuter. They are a little baggy, but that doesn't bother me. It gives her room to grow and the freedom to move around easily. They wash very well. The colors are still bold and vibrant." —Melis

Price: $10.39+

13. A book that'll turn your kids into pint-sized stand-up comics.

Promising review: "My 8-year-old son carried this book around with him. Even slept with it! He had his nose stuck in it, occasionally looking up to tell me a joke, but mostly just enjoying giggling at the humor that is perfect for the older elementary set. Kids don't realize that reading this book is helping them improve their language skills. I loved this book and recommend it highly as a gift for a kid in your life. And it's the perfect size to fit in a Christmas stocking." —Marybeth Whalen

Price: $3.06

14. A salon-quality ceramic hairdryer with three heat settings.

Promising review: "I have below shoulder length, microfine hair, and plenty of it... I've also got small children. In other words, I don't have time to dry my hair and I usually throw it in a ponytail every morning. However, since I received this dryer, I feel compelled to dry my hair after my showers... even attempt to style it." —RunningEngineer

Price: $29.99

15. A Jumperoo that'll make your baby feel like she's bouncing through a jungle.

Promising review: "We should have bought this sooner! If you are having any doubts about buying a Jumperoo, take the plunge... you will be so glad that you did!" —Rebekah Baier

Price: $64.59

16. Flannel shirts with corduroy-lined collars that'll get you in the mood for fall.

Promising review: "This shirt is made so well. Not too heavy and not too thin/lightweight. The lining inside the cuffs and collar is soft and looks classy (if that's possible for a flannel shirt)." —Wingnut

Price: $29.99+

17. Liquid chalk markers to use on blackboards, windows, whiteboards, and more.

Promising review: "These liquid chalk markers are super bright and beautiful!" —Maria Baskett

Price: $14.99

18. A "trash buddy" system to keep animals from sneaking their way into your garbage can.

Promising review: "My husband was skeptical when I handed this to him to install. After the easy installation, he was impressed. We have an issue with raccoons and critters getting into our garbage cans, and this is a great prevention remedy. I would recommend this as a first line of defense against a trash strewn yard!" —KRusso

Price: $9.99

19. An odor neutralizer to hang in your car to keep it from smelling like... ass (to be frank).

Promising review: "I drive a '05 Suburban that has had years of hauling just about everything you can imagine, resulting in an unknown number of spilled sodas, misplaced fast food, and who knows what all else. Recently, someone put an ice chest in back without bothering to cap the drain, so you can imagine the musty cruddy smell that existed shortly thereafter. Cruising through the Amazon website, I discovered the PURGGO, and based on the reviews, decided to give it a go—and am I ever glad that I did! After 'charging' it for an hour in the sun, I hung it exactly as illustrated, and actually forgot it was there until a few days later when my wife (who could smell a fly fart in a neighbor's garage) asked me what I'd used to get rid of the terrible odor." —James L. Kramer

Price: $19.99

20. A flea-resistant, elevated bed for your favorite pooch.

Promising review: "I bought one of these almost two years ago and it's still in excellent condition today. It's been outside year-round in sun, wind, cold and lots of snow. I have two Siberian Huskies and a German Shepherd/Boxer mix. They all use the bed daily, sometimes all at the the same time, and it shows no sign of bending, sagging, tearing, etc. They nap on it, they use it like a trampoline, and it often serves as safety during games of tag. I haven't had the same luck with the other outdoor beds I've bought and the dogs always choose the Coolaroo over the other beds anyway so, I just bought another one." —Ida Who

Price: $24.27

21. And a double feature of The NeverEnding Story movies (to watch in honor of the book's 37th anniversary).

Promising review: "One of the greatest family movies of all time. Still moves me even after having watched this film dozens of times. I had the opportunity to watch this again tonight with my kids and couldn't go to sleep without writing something about it." —Emil Torabi

Price: $4.99

Sorry about that. I was forced to think of this guy as I put together this post, so I thought everyone reading it should have to suffer too. I'm cruel like that.
