    1. An iRobot Roomba 692 — these are self-directed, so you can preset a schedule for the Roomba to start cleaning your floors each week, even when you're not home. Dust bunnies under the're doomed.

This sinks to Amazon Alexa or Google Home, so you can give it voice commands whenever something needs to get cleaned, stat. It uses Dirt Detect Sensors to figure out which areas of your home are more highly-trafficked, and cleans them more thoroughly. To learn more, read my colleague's full review on this must-have Roomba.

Promising review: "This product is revolutionary! I wanted one since it first came to the market, but they are not cheap, and I was not wholly convinced they could work. Well, I was wrong. This little robot goes under my furniture, climbs the threshold between rooms, does a fantastic job cleaning my many rugs. It makes a bit noise, but less than the standard vacuum. With the app, I can start it even when I'm not at home (or let it scheduled in advance) to come back to a clean home without experiencing the noise. Cleaning is fast and straightforward, and it works continuously for about two hours without recharging. Each recharge takes three hours." —Lu

I bought this cabinet because we will be moving in with a dog soon and I wanted him to feel safe using his box. Under his close supervision, I assembled the cabinet in under an hour. I put his old litter box inside and sprinkled cat nip on the walkway. He took right to it with no accidents (knock on wood). I should've bought this years ago!!" —Jen_Vaughn
